Stretching my technical ability beyond design parameters, but.....

the only errors I can see are amber and as below:
HTML1424: Invalid character
newreply.php (1,1)
HTML1424: Invalid character
newreply.php (1,3)
HTML1405: Invalid character: U+0000 NULL. Null characters should not be used.
newreply.php (1,4)
HTML1527: DOCTYPE expected. Consider adding a valid HTML5 doctype: "<!DOCTYPE html>".
newreply.php (1,4)
HTML1507: Unexpected character: U+0000 NULL. Null characters should not be used.
newreply.php (1,4)

No joy with added '&ModPagespeed=Off' but that may be operator error at my end....

Well, this is something really head-scratching... No errors, no warnings, but no processing either. I was thinking about the embedded video from myvideo.de, but a couple of tests showed, that the embedding does not affect ModPagespeed. Will try again with removed the cache completely. Apparently the module sees something...
@madjack

Can you try this one:

http://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/newreply.php?tid=1740

and http://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/newreply.php?tid=182 again?

I would like to make sure that it's not the embedded video.

That confirms, that what you get from the server is a complete garbage (e.g. something compressed,but without corresponding headers, or out of order). If I do not come up with anything workable in the next 24 hours, I will upgrade Apache to the latest version.

The first link works fine - the second is still broken... sniff!

@madjack - try again?

Getting very weird now... I think I can post, but now can't see the post (get those unreadable pages again) Dash1

I can read all the pages up to the page I posted on (11) - though this seems to also have a random element and some pages also error then work fine on the next attempt.

Another little detail I've spotted is that according to my browser the page doesn't finished loading... the spinning wheel of doom just twirls away on the tab... may be nothing, but could be another clue?

Is it simply that the thread is too big (by data size) ? I know other threads have more pages but is this one just maxed out on capacity? Unlikely as other threads have just as many postings of images, but clutching at straws now.

Do you have local firewalls installed (e.g. Windows)? Or McAfee IPS? Can you check the logs? It does look like there is something in between (as I said earlier). A proxy (also a transparent proxy), a firewall, a weird traffic shaper, etc. Can you try from a different computer (phone?) or different location?
Yes, I thought about the amount of pictures in that thread, and yesterday I disabled showing previous posts in the new reply window. After the change ModPagespeed began to correctly process the page.

However, today I noticed that the usual page (not newreply.php?tid=182) gets also ignored by ModPagespeed. And here we go:

- a confirmation. Back to the investigation...

Hmm... the plot thickens...

I can access the site via my mobile but NOT login... even if I log out from the laptop and try again.

The response over my mobile is that I'm aeady logged in as 'madjack' but I can't access anything because I'm 'not logged in' !!!!!!

err???

MJ

Ps. I do have McAfee, but nothing is showing in the logs...
