Layering is always interesting, but what I’ve never seen before is that how layers are intentionally “confused”, what makes them look almost like Escher’s impossible drawings or Möbius’ one-side surfaces.

Let’s begin with the fishnets downwards then upwards and downwards again: fishnets, stockings, suspenders, corset, latex skirt, fishnets. But ain’t suspenders supposed to be worn under skirt? The mini skirt is trapped between the suspenders and fishnets. You can not get the fishnet pantyhose off, because they are trapped by the stockings and the corset. Etc.

And yet you clearly see every layer. Even the fishnets “through” the latex or sheer stockings.

Another “spontaneous find”. On a news site I’ve read about Rihanna’s photo session with Terry Richardson. Googled his name for more photos, then clicked on his Tumblr page and found this photo.

I do not watch either American Idol or Smash, so the name Katharine McPhee meant nothing to me until I saw her in a YouTube music video together with Chris Botti. She was not wearing pantyhose with her mini dress and high-heels, so I started searching Internet.

Like most celebrities she does not have such things as nylons in her wardrobe. Commercial shootings is a different story, though. I managed to find this photo of her wearing black back-seamed sheer pantyhose that was made for “Stuff” magazine. Did you notice the difference in the reinforced toe area on different photos? I wonder why they couldn’t found “sandal foot” pantyhose.

I stumbled upon this eBay ad a couple of weeks ago and all this time the eBay page with the photo was open in a corner of my screen.

Nothing really special: a red latex Latexa swimsuit (found in ProLatex shop), black fishnet pantyhose and black latex gloves, but the photo was haunting for my attention (unlike the other two from the same ad). Even my wife commended the photo.

I wonder what the suit looks like in the “real life”. Probably it’s good only on Susan Wayland? ;-) There is another “secret” reason for the post – I do not have a simple one-piece latex swimsuit, I want one (for this Christmas?) but I’m not sure about the design. I would like to have it with a high neck and closed back, just like the Speedo water-polo hydrasuit, but I can’t find one.

Another (simpler) solution is to go for a usual swimsuit but already chlorinated (e.g. made by Fetisso). On other hand I can easily chlorinate latex by myself. Any suggestions?

I never liked “dirty”, “over-spicy”, too much unnecessary details, very soft focus, “fat salad with too much ingredients”, “shouty”, “ink-spots” style of photography. It does not matter if it’s a black&white or a colour photo, you can see high saturation and cross-processing in both. In my mind most Helmut Newton’s photos fall in this category.

However, even in this loud cacophony you can catch a fine tune or a conversation you are interested in. I wonder if the purpose of “this style” is to make the viewer look for something. Probably for what is being advertised? I always look for fetish triggers anyway :D

It’s difficult to spoil a beautiful woman. She will remain beautiful in almost any clothes or without, with almost any make-up or without (by saying “almost” I leave some possibilities for very “talented” and “creative” stylists).
