Fetish, latex and fashion in Second Life. Part IV

See Part I, Part II and Part III.

The virtual reality of Second Life can give you absolutely unreal abilities. You can change your body, your appearance, your sex, you can ignore laws of physics, you can ignore the public moral, you can do and wear whatever you want.

You can enjoy made to measure transparent latex outfit and ridiculously high heels all day long and everywhere. Without any fear of falling down, getting tired, having cramps, fighting air bubbles and perspiration.

However, some things remain the same. For example, if you can’t design and make your clothes and tools – you have to buy them.

See 63 pictures below.

Do not confuse latex with lycra or Topshop sells latex clothes. Part II

fashion topshop latex shorts and topsSee Part I here and here.

Just as predicted in the forum thread people have no clue what that is. Even the experienced Dutch media. AD.nl published an article “Sexy in cycle shorts” in which they repeatedly called it lycra. I added a comment saying that it’s not lycra but latex, but, of course, it did not pass their censorship.

BTW, just found a manga drawing (see below) featuring similar latex shorts.

Man in swimsuit/bodysuit. Just a candid photo

man in a swimsuit or bodusuitI spotted this guy in a white swimsuit or bodysuit in Amiens (France). The distance was quite big (about 40 meters) and in the next second he put his coat on, so I managed to make only one photo (fortunately my camera was ready).

The first man (besides me) in a swimsuit I’ve ever seen in person. Still no men in pantyhose (transvestites do not count) :-\

Latex, pantyhose, leather, mohair, velvet or ready-to-wear and Cerruti

Cerruti fashion latex mini skirt pantyhoseSilky latex, pantyhose (also with shorts), tight leather, mohair, velvet, high heels, opera length gloves, mini skirts, long legs… What do you think I’m talking about? Fetish party? Fetishists heaven? Collective fetish dreams?

Not even close (but it all depend how you look at it, of course ;-). Cerruti (French fashion house) with some help from Australian designer Richard Nicoll presented their fall/winter 2010 ready-to-wear collection for business women.

See 16 photos below.

The art of leggings or the new Black Milk collection

James Lillis and his Black Milk company came up with a new collection of shiny-glossy-wetlook-latex-like-leggings and bodysuits.

The Spartans leggings (see photo on the left and below) cost $90, the ones with chains (called Gold Liquid Cages) – $160. And if you want to pair them with a similar styled Gold or Silver Chained Bodysuit, you will have to add $80. Not cheap, but definitely different and look very interesting (see the candids).

See 24 photos below.

Stumbled upon on eBay. Beautiful KUB cuffs. Bondage as jewellery?

leg- and handcuffed girlWhat: Handcrafted Irish 8 leg- and handcuffs with a Hamburg style lock, made by KUB of nickel-plated brass. New and include one key.

These cuffs include a Hamburg Locking mechanism. The Hamburg-style key is not a standard handcuff key and will only work with this lock. They can be bought in different sizes

Where: Cuffstore

Why: They are heavy (1.5 lb) but comfortable and look like jewellery. Imagine them worn with an evening dress. Also, they resemble a metal rope comfortably and inescapably embracing wrists and ankles.

Not sure if such handcuffs can be used for self-bondage (no problems with legcuffs, of course). Probably if the key is clamped in a vice?

Fetish and (self-)bondage in Second Life. Part III. Devices.

self-bondage single-glove in second lifeSee Part I and Part II.

In a virtual world everything is possible. With some programming skills you can bend and tweak the habitual laws of physics and biology and create devices or species not possible or not yet invented or designed in the real world.

You need two things: imagination and ability to draw (or describe so someone else will draw for you and or script for Second Life).

While I can’t call the demonstrated imagination exceptional I definitely like some virtual bondage tool designs made for Second-life. And I wish they existed in our world.

For example, have look at the description of the single-glove on the left:

Charlotte Church, latex dress, latex look leggings and losing weight

Charlotte Church in latex look leggingsGuess what? Since this post (or a week ago) I lost 1kg. How? It’s getting warmer outside, so my body requires less food (a direct correlation: the colder outside, the more I eat), I can train more often (at least 5 times a week) and I train in this suit.

The result – from 78 to 77kg in a week and still going in the right direction. My goal is 73-74kg. While 4-5kg does not sound like a big deal, it does “look” and “feel”

But here’s another example. A Welsh classical singer Charlotte Church (see photos below)

… dropped from a size 14-16 back to her pre-pregnancy size 10-12 by walking and swimming, but in the past few months has slimmed further. She is now a size 8…

That’s a difference! Like another Welsh classical singer (is there a trend or something?) Katherine Jenkins she wore latex being at size 12 (see below), but now
