Men in pantyhose and Dutch fashion award

Men in pantyhose - sjaak_hullekes_fashion_01

  • Men’s fashion designer Sjaak Hullekes has won the third Mercedes Benz Dutch Fashion Award and takes home €25,000 in prize money.

Congratulations! I would love to win money too.

  • Sjaak introduced male ballerinas.

OK with me, as long as they don’t make me wear them

  • Sjaak likes androgynous young boys.

Fine, I’m not one of them, but I like such boys drawn in manga (in various situations). Probably I’m missing something in the real life 😉

  • In his collection Sjaak made those boys wear thin transparent pantyhose with shorts.

Awesome! I adore pantyhose, shorts with pantyhose and anything with pantyhose !!!

But I have one question….

WHY?! DO?! THEY?! NOT?! SHAVE?! THEIR?! LEGS?!!!!!!

Sorry guys, but your hairy legs look disgusting…

Milla Jovovich in latex pantyhose and latex gloves

Milla Jovovich in latex stockings and latex glovesAnother missing post. Milla Jovovich in an ad-campaign for TSUM Moscow. I can’t tell if she’s wearing latex pantyhose or stockings (I think stockings, though, but prefer to think of tights) but the latex garment blends so smoothly and naturally with the rest of the clothes, so I can’t imagine it being replaced with “plain” nylons or even … nothing.

Note the different colours (e.g white latex is a very unusual material in the fashion world), transparent latex stockings with black back seams, red latex stockings with very sheer black nylon ones worn on top and transparent opera length latex gloves. (See? Black latex stockings are already considered usual and normal 😉

By the way, no latex is mentioned in the clothes description. Bad…

Good style, bad pantyhose

Girl in pantyhose andminiskirt on a bicycle - ph-bike-02Bad (low quality, dull, soggy, itchy, scratchy) pantyhose must be banned. Period. You can buy decent transparent pantyhose with spandex/lycra for as less as €1 in supermarkets. I do know. I did test them. I do buy pantyhose in supermarkets. Even my wife likes some of them. Even after Wolford, Falke, Oroblu and Maxmara.

Thanks to Porter.

Fashion, Bondage and Latex. Marios Schwab

marios_schwab-2009-spring-03 - karadaLet’s start with latex. If you look at the article (from Kulturspiegel 12/2007, since you all speak German I will not translate it ;-> ) the comment below the photo says: Winter collection 2007/2008. I have checked the official press releases on Style.com and Vogue – no hint of latex at all. Something is wrong somewhere.

Then to the bondage. Karadas and Kikkous are popular and in fashion. Check, for example, photos of Eva Herzigova. No wonder, rope art looks good everywhere: on the wall, on a naked body, under and over the clothes, on a cardboard box (to keep it closed). Rope is so natural, so it can be used virtually everywhere as a decorative element or a barely noticed functional part of… Especially with matching clothes. Got the idea? No? See this post.

Thanks to Mahret.

Fashion trends 2009

A week ago TieUpTime sent me a link to the 2009 footwear collection. After the first 2min video appeared the second, then the third and so on. What I noticed is lots of high heels, visible (colourful, shiny, glittering, layers, black transparent, etc) pantyhose (like in the 80’s), tight bodysuits and leotards (sometimes worn without a skirt – just a leotard and pantyhose), leather (leather boots, leather leotards, leather trousers, leather stockings) and I think I spotted some latex (latex stockings and latex leggings, probably I confused them with latex-like wetlook lycra, though).

Are we indeed going back to the 80’s with their aerobic style but in a more refined way? If you check women’s clothes departments you will notice that tight elasthan/lycra t-shirts fully replaced the cotton ones. The baggy rags disappeared. Skirts are getting shorter and shorts are more often to be seen.

Anyway, at least pantyhose are back to the street view!

Latex and office clothes. Aurora’s approach

Aurora in latex clothes and high heelsProbably a mix of styles, probably a bit too sporty for high heels, but if you got used to such heels (and this is an absolutely must in Russia, you are supposed to wear them everywhere) it’s perfect for outdoor entertainment, no doubts .

Speaking about the office… Probably too colourful to work with clients in person, but otherwise quite suitable… Errrmmm …. What did you say the clothes are made out?

Catalonia, kids and white pantyhose. Part I

White pantyhose, bike shorts, bicycle and kidsWhat is “traveling” for you? I would call it “external changes”. Of course, the internal changes may follow, but what you notice first is how the “outer” world is changing in front of you. Landscape, climate, buildings, language, people, clothes. The more you look at the people the less errors you make in guessing their nationality.

The first thing I noticed in Catalonia is kids in white nylon pantyhose. Regardless the age. Here’s an example.
