Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part I

This Japanese fetish and bondage artist (he uses nickname 阿★凡, pronounced in some image boards as Ah-Gu, let’s use this variant for the time being) has a very distinctive style that caught my attention. Every drawing is an illustration to a short story written in Japanese, so if you speak this language and can read kanji, you may want to go into deeper into Ah-Gu’s world, which is a bit too cruel and sadistic for my taste.

However, without words the picked up pictures may spawn different associations and mental images than meant by the author and I begin to imagine myself in these situations. And this is exactly why the pictures work for me.

What’s to like in Japanese schoolgirls? Senri Kawaguchi

Indeed… Schoolgirls is a fetish by itself, but Japanese (like most of other things Japanese have touched or invented) schoolgirls represent another level of fetishism praised by manga and anime (yes, another Japanese creation).

So, what’s to like? First of all, cute young oriental girls. Then the uniform (short skirts, stockings or over-the-knee’s, tights, funny backpacks, sometimes strange shoes, swimsuits). And finally their abilities, capabilities and desires.

Fighting is one of those capabilities “Kill Bill” showed. But here’s another one – playing drums. Senri Kawaguchi (川口千里), a 13yo Japanese schoolgirl (born in the suburbs of Nagoya, Japan in 1997), started playing drums at the age of 5, at the age of 8 years she started studying under Kozo Suganuma, received awards in the “Rhythm & Drums Magazine” Contest in 2007.

Fetish and (self-)bondage in Second Life. Part I

What would you do if you have some desires or wishes you can not make in the real life? The gifted can draw. The rest can use their own imagination, or use the drawings by watching or in the virtual reality worlds like Second Life.

I’ve never played in the Second Life for various reasons, but from what I see on the pictures (see below or in this forum thread) is pretty amazing. You can create or buy bondage and fetish tools, devices and attire and make your virtual “You” enjoy (or suffer) various predicaments. From what I understand from what Strappado wrote selfbondage is also possible.

Pin Up Doll Look Make-Up

(Try to pronounce it: Pin-Up-Doll-Look-Make-Up-Pin-Up-Doll-Look-Make-Up)

Just found this video on youtube and decided to publish it here for several reasons: the girl is cute, I like manga, it’s related to the Japanese dolls and Photogenic Masks, it’s a nice tutorial on make-up and it also shows how difficult it is… And I just like the video.

OK, enough reasoning. Watch the video below.

Dressing up for Tokyo Kabukicho or latex and shiny pantyhose

Tokyo is a capital of the country which gave birth to such international terms as manga, anime, kigurumi, shibari, hentai. And Kabukicho is the Red Light district in Tokyo. You simply must dress up accordingly! What about a latex leotard, shiny pantyhose, leather belt (aka mini skirt), high heels and blue wig?

Hojojutsu. Traditional Japanese art of rope bondage

bondage_book_jp-1-01 HojojutsuWhat: Japanese manual for tying up prisoners (捕縄術 – hojojutsu or 縄術 – nawajutsu).

Where: the item itself, the shop (click here should the item expire)

Why: A must have a for any nawa-shi (縄師 – a rope master). This is not about the sexual form of rope bondage (kinbaku), but the rather historical method of binding (shibari) prisoners. The text is all Japanese, but there are pictures throughout the book 9254 pages), making it understandable and enjoyable for everyone. But if it works on prisoners, it should work everywhere and for everybody. Including self-bondagers. See the pictures below. See the Japanese terms here.

Japanese self-bondage sites. Any volunteers to translate?

I found two self-bondage sites with very promising names and lots of content, but it’s the first time I could not squeeze any useful information out of my findings. Two reasons:

  • both sites are completely in Japanese
  • no pictures

That lets down most. Moreover, on-line translators did not help – I got a mix of unrelated English words and not translated 自縛 (even I know that it means “self-bondage”).

The only hope is those who speak Japanese. These are the sites:
