Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part VII. Reflection

Most Ah-Gu’s drawings are accompanied with very short stories. I tried to translate them from Japanese using Google-translate, but I was never able to catch the “general idea”. Moreover, I got an impression, that these stories make drawings less interesting, they limit your imagination to the particular “deviation” of the author.

On the other hand, the images let you imagine your own story, more exciting, more scary, more naughty. The “depicted persons” can be of any age, any gender, can be self-bound or bound by someone else. It all depends on you.

And as I said before I always see myself there. Dressed in latex, bound and gagged…

Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part VI. Kid’s thoughts

When I was a kid (I do not remember the age – between 6 and 12), I had several bondage dream-scenarios:

I was bound and gagged by someone I can’t see (just arms, hands and props)
I was bound by an old and nice man but without a single touch – by magic ropes and magic fetish clothes (in my bed for the night)
I was routinely bound by my (or someone else’s) grandmother and grandfather (during a day at home or outside, without paying much attention to me, like a usual everyday chore, speaking with each other about something completely different and unrelated)

No pain, just a pleasure and always a good will. This is the only difference between my thoughts and dreams and what the artist (Ah-Gu) creates. I would leave the clothes, bondage, props, arms, big invisible men but lessen the degree of fear and violence. The rest is perfect.

Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part V. Childhood dreams

Dark, exaggerated, out of time, scary, out of place, unreal, telling stores, doll-looking Ah-Gu‘s art feels a bit uncomfortable, but also very erotic and … real.

Real (for me), because I can easily see (imagine) myself on the pictures. As I mentioned in the Self-bondage, fetish and children forum thread, when I was a 7-10 year old kid I dreamed about being painlessly(!) and pleasurably bound and gagged in this kind of clothes – tight and shiny, silky and rubbery.

Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part IV. Deviant medicine for normal frustrations

Well, being normal and non-deviant (see Paraphilias, sexual fetishes, normality, deviations and men vs women), considering only vanilla heterosexual non-perversive thoughts, work and train regularly does not always bring the expected results.

Let’s see. 15 minutes cumulatively spent with a girl (at work and in a big company) virtually drove me mad (see Office, pantyhose, high heels. Part I. Obsession) and paralysed my socially useful activity for days. It took me more than a week to recover and recollect myself (I haven’t seen any new photos or spoken with her yet, so, who knows …).

Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part II

On the one hand, Ah-Gu‘s (or whatever 阿★凡 is pronounced) art is simplified, the proportions are distorted, body features are mostly schematic, etc. But on the other hand, look at the details accompanying the main subject, at the atmosphere, look at the expression on the faces and listen to your “inner” reaction.

Probably I understand nothing in the art, but I would say that the artist is very talented.

Bondage art by Ah-Gu. Part I

This Japanese fetish and bondage artist (he uses nickname 阿★凡, pronounced in some image boards as Ah-Gu, let’s use this variant for the time being) has a very distinctive style that caught my attention. Every drawing is an illustration to a short story written in Japanese, so if you speak this language and can read kanji, you may want to go into deeper into Ah-Gu’s world, which is a bit too cruel and sadistic for my taste.

However, without words the picked up pictures may spawn different associations and mental images than meant by the author and I begin to imagine myself in these situations. And this is exactly why the pictures work for me.
