The proper strait-jacket. Self-bondage is possible

Last time we talked about strait-jackets here and here (check also this tag: strait-jacket), I mentioned that two things do not work for me:

  • cotton
  • arms crossed in front

Finally, I managed to find a photo of the proper strait-jacket: a latex leotard with long sleeves and mittens with D-rings. Depends on how strong the latex is, self-bondage is possible by connecting the D-rings to the ice-lock through SRD. Actually, I tried something like that but with cuffs, not with such a bondage leotard.

MadJack, what do you think now? 😉

Textured latex or BDSM Ball 2008

Girl X, Billy and Aurora in latex suits

Two news:

textured latex
Textured latex "Volcanoes"

The last three letters from BDSM do not interest me, I could not find any interesting related to the “first letter”, but what caught my attention is the clothes made out textured latex.

According to RuBeaR website the textured latex is handmade, can be from 0.3 to 5mm thick and can have various colour combination. What makes such clothes unique and exclusive.

Latex, fishnets, high heels… Everyday classics. Part III

Latex mini skirt fishnet pantyhose office style

See Part I and Part II

Let’s continue the latex + pantyhose + high-heels office style theme. Suddenly, I caught myself thinking about:”I wonder what I would look like or feel in these clothes…”. (Actually, this is one of my most important criteria on rating such materials 😉

Anyway, what would you feel if you had a coworker (let’s simplify the situation and think about women) dressed like the girl on the photos? Would you be able to carry on with your work? Would you get used to it after, say, two months?

TDKev (Kevin S. Walsh) or fine piece of heavy fetish art

latex bondage fetish artThis is something special. Or different. Basically, in my mind fetish art is associated with such persons as Eric Stanton and John Willie’s Bizarre or Gwendoline. But unlike John Willie’s minimalism (bare necessity, fetish extract) or Eric Stanton’s elaborated bondage or exaggerated femdom, Kevin‘s drawings are exact the opposite of both of them. But what they have in common is what they do with your mind and imagination. Also, they are very different in terms of the mood. I’ll try to explain using lists of associations or brain dump But, just in case, this is my opinion, my imagination and my perverted mind.

You can make your own story by looking at the pictures. They do look like illustrations, but I could not find anything related to Kevin Walsh, except his DeviantArt page. Nothing in Google, nothing in Yahoo, nothing on eBay, Marquis or Skin Two (Kevin worked with these magazines).

Latex kids clothes in street ads

Siri Tollerød in pink latex stockingsUpdate 2008-12-10 @14:27:03: Added commercial (video)

I noticed this “Harajuku Lovers” poster featuring Norwegian model Siri Tollerød in De Bijenkorf in Amsterdam.

I like these “typical kids clothes”: pink latex stockings, pink latex girdle, latex bows, latex mittens (on another poster), high heels and white shirt. Latex for everyone! Yooohhhoooo!!! ;-D

And guess, what happens next?

Note the latex knee highs, Selina blogged about them a while back. I want them. Source

Yes, it bloody works 😉

Latex. Spring. Approach No 1. By Jerome Gouvrion.

Update 2010-08-22 @01:51: By JG’s request all his photos have been removed with great pleasure.

Update 2008-12-10 @00:37:57: Please see comments below

Jerome Gouvrion (Paris, France) stays behind the following well-known fetish sites: captiveculture.com, latexculture.com, ladyfemdom.com (no affiliation). Recently I came across his blog (www.gouvrion.com). The reason for that was the photo on the left. Retro-like, sepia-toned pin-up photo featuring Anais. I’m not very familiar with Jerome’s works, but having seen quite a few of images published on the above mentioned sites, I would say that the “bucolic shot” (like Jerome called it) is a bit different.

Latex dress in Vidal Sassoon ads

Look at the picture closely. The model is wearing a thin transparent lace printed latex dress!

The photo can be found on the Vidal Sasoon website under Salon|Professional -> Chimera|Autumn Winter 2008

Unfortunately the picture is very small. Does anybody have a bigger photo or a scanned poster?

Latex, fishnets, high heels… Everyday classics. Part II

latex business suit fishnet pantyhose high heelsApparently in Part I I made a correct assumption, that latex will eventually make its way into the ordinary vanilla life. Latex can be worn with fur and it’s even being “promoted” as children’s clothing (see this post). Yes, yes, it’s said with a tongue firmly in my cheek, but again and again – you never know.

Look at the pictures below. Would you like to see such a receptionist? Latex, mini skirt, fishnets, high heels but still within the business dress code 😉

Crazy fashion: latex catsuit + fur +

Алена Османова Alyona Osmanova in latex catsuit and fur+ “pony-girl boots” by Antonio Berardi (horseshoes are definitely missing here).

As I wrote in Mahret’s diary the fashion industry is out of fresh ideas, the amount of fashion houses is shrinking, even Russian people (the crisis is everywhere) begin to spend less on fashion items. Practicality, durability and good price/quality ratio vs. epatage, the latest crazy priced ultra fashionable stuff, big labels and shiny glamour magazines. The first easily wins, what makes the not-happy Big Fashion Names invent something (though, not revolutionary) “new” every season.

What can be less practical than a latex catsuit? Probably those heel-less fetish-comics-like pony-girl boots (Victoria Beckham was spotted wearing them). On the other hand, the designers managed to keep latex and fur in natural harmony and create a jaw-dropping utterly fetish and at the same time nearly perfect looking and tranquil (strange combination of extremely sexual latex and tranquility, isn’t it?) … style(?) image(?)

And yes, please more such clothes to the streets 😉
