Joyl27 came up with a new self-bondage technique – pantyhose strait-jacket. See the description here. Please check it out, test and let us know what you think.

Underwater self-bondage by TTD
Clothes you can’t just take off. Part I. Introduction
See the first part of my attempts to organize everything I know about lockable clothes. I’ve begun with terms, definitions, reasons and some examples.
As always, please feel free to chime in.
Stumbled upon on eBay. Heavy rubber latex (self)-bondage bodybag
What: Heavy rubber (0,7mm = 0.028″) 4D latex bodybag. Available in royal blue and red.
Where: the items, the seller.
Why:
- The front zipper can be zipped up and down from the inside, what makes the bag suitable for self-bondage.
- I like royal blue colour
- The thickness makes this bodybag almost indestructible
- The sleeping bags are form-fitted

Inflatable latex suits for selfbondage
Please see the first post (and comments) about using an inflatable chair for self-bondage.
I’ve seen lots of posts suggesting using inflatable mattresses wrapped around the body and secured with straps. According to the authors this method works. Also the mattresses are quite cheap.
The suits I found in this shop are not cheap at all. Instead you get comfortable inescapable bondage in a latex cocoon. If you can get into them and zip them up and down without external help, 80% is done.
Now the last 20%. How to safely inflate and deflate the suits in a timely manner.
Breath control art, plastic bags or thin transparent film. Part III
Opaque masks vs Transparent hoods
I think I’ve just understood the “psychological idea” behind transparent latex and plastic bags. It is, actually, pretty obvious – you can see a “real life” live person inside the transparent material.
But the real magic happens when you replace the transparent latex or transparent plastic with opaque material. Suddenly, your partner disappears. It can be anybody or anything. (See this post about a psychological “zentai” experiment). Your mind and your imagination are the only boundaries. You can imagine yourself with a bound celebrity or a comics character. Hotel maids. Myths, fiction, art and reality. Part I
This is what Wiki says about “maids”:
A maidservant or in current usage maid is a female employed in domestic service. Maids perform typical domestic chores such as cooking, ironing, washing, cleaning the house, grocery shopping, walking the family dog, and taking care of children.
Many maids are required by their employers to wear a uniform.
A bit more about the uniform:
French maid refers to a strongly modified style of servant’s dress that evolved from typical maids’ black and white afternoon uniforms of the nineteenth century (and their later use by stereotypical characters in risqué burlesque dramas of the bedroom farce variety). The designs of the French maid dress can range widely from a conservative look to very revealing. It is now often associated with cosplay, sexual roleplaying, and fetishism. Depending on design details, some forms can be classified as lingerie.
I would add that French maid uniform looks very similar to the old Soviet school uniform. (See this post and this) No wonder that the latter has also formed a strong fetish.

Ballet and bondage
In my mind ballet is strongly associated with bondage, even self-bondage. Years and years of torture and self-torture. Especially Russian ballet (that’s why it’s so good).
Anyway, I found the photo on eBay (BT Charles 13 by 19 inch gelatin silver print). As far as I know it was not sold, so if you are interested you may want to check this seller and this search.
If you live not far from Miami, you can see one of the prints in the Miami Erotic Art Museum.
BTW, compare it to this photo.
Undoable cinch noose for selfbondage release
I found this version of a sail-knot which could be cinched with pulling one rope and undone with another. Looks very interesting and possibly can be used for tightening elbow ties (shown on the video below), single-gloves, hand/arm anchoring etc.
I haven’t tried this method yet and will not try in the nearest future, but I wonder if someone has time and space to test it.
I will post drawings later if I find them.
