Katharine McPhee in pantyhose

I do not watch either American Idol or Smash, so the name Katharine McPhee meant nothing to me until I saw her in a YouTube music video together with Chris Botti. She was not wearing pantyhose with her mini dress and high-heels, so I started searching the Internet.

Like most celebrities, she does not have such things as nylons in her wardrobe. Commercial shootings are a different story, though. I managed to find this photo of her wearing black back-seamed sheer pantyhose that was made for “Stuff” magazine. Did you notice the difference in the reinforced toe area on different photos? I wonder why they couldn’t found “sandal foot” pantyhose.

Indeed, a rule of thumb (or another part of a human body): if something does not go in or out – relax, lube it up and do not use much force and sharp movements. That, actually, works in many completely not related to (self-)bondage cases. Forget one of the “ingredients” (e.g. use lube but make a sharp movement), and the consequences might be even fatal. This is how I made leggings from latex tights and covered the floor in the hotel room with ….

Compact e-stim device – Erectonus

A couple of years ago I was seriously thinking about buying an e-stim device to get more entertaining possibilities during self-bondage sessions (and, hey, hands-free orgasm!). However, after spending days searching the Internet, reading various forums, reviews, I finally ditched the idea, because:

e-stim devices are bulky
good devices are very expensive and require expensive tools (plugs, contacts, etc.)
cheap e-stim devices are, actually, not so cheap, but do not bring much satisfaction (most likely no HFO)
electricity cannot be used inside of latex suits
wires and electricity are not quite compatible with self-bondage sessions (where you are supposed to rock&roll 😉

Rubberist.Net (IAHR) is for sale

In short: Ataraxia (the owner) is selling Rubberist.net again. This includes all forum content, the “Rubberist.NET/.ORG/.INFO/CO.UK” domains and the (non-expiring) license to the vBulletin software.

I remember he already tried to sell the site about 8-10 years ago, but was convinced to postpone his decision. Apparently now Ataraxia (65) is indeed going to retire. He did not lose the interest, but all the things not directly related to fetish and bondage take way too much time, energy and money. And after many years you suddenly realise that it’s not fun anymore. Yes, I know the feelings…
