This picture has a very long history. A long time ago I saw this drawing by ~wieweet
I liked the idea, so for months I had that pic in my "to do" directory. A few months after that my favourite DA photographer *raphaelclass showed this photo:
But only when a few weeks ago, I saw the Eiffel tower once again up close, something clicked....

This year's Christmas pic even took me by surprise, this idea literally hit me like a ton of bricks.

This was originally titled 'Christmas Vs.' however after a while I realized there wasn't much variety with many of the winter characters, swapping out 'Christmas' with 'Holiday' let me expand the definition so I could add a few other holidays like Easter and Halloween. (Great excuse to add Mad Monster Party! Woo-Hoo!)

I don't watch much television, but one of the series I do watch from time to time is NCIS. I like the excellent dialogues of the series and its somewhat excentric characters. The gothic forensic scientist Abby Sciuto, played by the actress Pauley Perrette is no doubt my favourite.

I didn't found any other bound Perrettes, but this one [link] by ~RedSpider2008 merits special mention.

Several references used for the pose and the face. The picture bivouacked several months in my "abandoned" directory, as I found the pose too simple and the feet rather bad.

Pauley Perrette is an American actress, known for playing the eccentric forensic scientist Abby Sciuto on the TV series NCIS. Amusingly she attended University, where she studied... forensics.

For most of my stories I first get the idea of the ending, and then I write the story so that the final twist has the most effect. The Serial Tyer however, started with the title plus the vague idea of making a whodunit. That didn't quite work out. I came halfway, but the story was far too long and far too complicated, and I just didn't like it.

Then finally my subconscious decided to do its duty, produced a story ending that I liked and I wrote this one.

Side note, the cartoon I mentioned in the story, is by ~Snapdragonparadise:

Did this piece to have a play around with a different outdoor lighting setup, as it's much more straight forward to do bright and sunny lighting. Also was trying to do a z-depth pass which did'nt quite come out as planned but helped bring out some of the detail inside the barn

In Resident Evil V Excella Gionne is the head of a division of the pharmaceutical company Tricell. Together with Albert Wesker she creates a virus, with which eventually she gets infected herself.
