 After being rescued from their plumbing peril, Daphne and Velma are both happy the other is safe.
I think this is one of the only "after the distress" drawings I've done... although I actually did it before I drew "Daphne and Velma: Pipe Dreams."

Anyway, something about this one just makes me happy so I thought I would include it 


 

This is my Halloween picture for this year. Kim Possible cosplaying as Quorra from "Tron Legacy".
 It's a direct rip-off of a fairly well-known poster for the movie.

It's not all that halloweeny, and a little rough around the edges but it works.

I heard that they have canned plans to make a third Tron movie. I'm disappointed, coz I bet they would have learnt from the mistakes of the previous attempt and done a good job with the next one.
 Hopefully though, despite not seeing a direct continuation of the story of Sam and Quorra, they will do a reboot in a few years that truly lives up to the excellent original.
 Forgetting about messiah storylines in a custom made "Grid", they should go back to following the lives of programs in actual computers that have a function in the real-world.
 Imagine the possibilities within the 21st century internet, Playstations, and cell-phones.. Rather than rehashing the light-cycles, space-invaders and other archaic 80's games, they could put programs into Call of Duty style combat games, Diablo style dungeon-crawlers, or Minecraft!  
 (A little bit like Wreck-It-Ralph but not done for laughs)..

  For many of us "Damsel in Distress" fans, one of our earliest memories of being intrigued by beautiful girls being captured was watching reruns of Scooby-Doo just hoping the "Amusement Park Bog Monster would capture Daphne or Velma in this one!"  Every so often, they DID, and we LOVED it!  .... and they would have gotten away with it, too, if it hadn't been for those meddling kids!

Really fast and simple. But I just sort of like it anyway. It kind of works on its own as a bit of silly fun - but if you've seen a particular series in my gallery, you might realise who these two meeting for the first time are, and what this predicament means...
