SO, I finally got Retroshare up and running on my mac, downloaded the Tor browser, and then tried to go to
http://scwmwsig5mvoyz32.onion/ as indicated in the thread and I get `Invalid onsite address`.
Is there a reason I need Tor when I can just add peoples` certs to Retroshare?
Is there a Retroshare package for Mac with built-in Tor? If yes, I would use that RS version. And then, during the first start, create a hidden/dark net identity. In this case, no Tor browser, or a separate Tor instance needed.

It's not responding for me too. So, it might be down...
Retroshare with Tor built in? Pretty sure there`s not.
I can run retroshare on my mac with a VPN but it always seems that no one is on.
Alot of my certs I procured from 8chan.
The problem is people have to be on in order to get content 😟

Indeed:
https://retroshare.cc/downloads.html
Quote: RetroShare is currently available for OSX in version 0.6.5 only. Note: the packaging and compilation is not ours. It's been made automatically using Travis-CI. On OSX-10.14.2, one has to install libnettle using Brew:
$ brew install libnettle
In order to use Retroshare over Tor, just do:
$ brew install tor
So, yes, you need to either install Tor or Tor browser...
I have Nord VPN running on my mac (in the background) with Tor open and I can reach both sites you listed but not the one I keep getting invalid onion site address

So, Tor is working fine, then 😊
