I have noticed that to a degree. Usually I indulged in considerably warmer weather and took steps to keep fluid intake in balance as I am prone to heat stroke. As a result I did need to eliminate accumulated fluids. However, as you say, in a colder clime one generally sweats less (as in winter) as the body adjusts to retain heat as opposed to attempting to exhaust it as in Summer and the salt output is reduced in cold weather. Summer allowed more time outside whereas winter was not the time to run about outside in just a catsuit, just a wee tad cold even for me.
