Eurovision song festival 2011. Part I. Israel and shiny pantyhose.

One year back in Düsseldorf the Eurovision 2011 clothes were less interesting than 2012. But still I managed to find something interesting.

The singer from Israel was wearing (“stage grade” like Danskin?) shiny pantyhose. But either the size was not correct or a leotard on top was needed, because they sagged around her ankles.

See 8 hi-rez photos below.

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part IX. Croatia, fishnets, pantyhose and white stockings

The Croatian team can easily be called the Eurovision 2012 Fetish team #1 (though, I admit that fetishes differ ;-). White mini-dresses, fishnets, flesh-coloured slightly shimmering pantyhose and white over-knees/stockings.

And high heels, of course. Just high heels, stilettos, platforms with spiked heels, weird high heels, ridiculously high heels were in favour this season.

See 8 photos below.

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part VIII. Moldova and shiny-shiny-shiny tights

Moldavian teams are always fun to watch and to listen, and they also have fun on the stage. The relaxed madness of this year was definitely not an exception. Pretty girls in shiny lycra opaque leggings-like pantyhose, awkward mini-dresses and ballet shoes created a cheerful chaos around one guy with hairy legs in breeches.

A couple of suggestions:

  • The pantyhose must be back-seamed like Wolford Satin de Luxe and Platino Luxe Fata
  • The guy must shave his legs and wear the same tights

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part VII. Latvia and shiny pantyhose

The team from Latvia wore very visible and barely visible sheer shiny pantyhose with virtually everything (long skirts, short skirts, shorts, mini dresses, mini jump-suits, breeches) and virtually everywhere. The way to go!

See 12 hi-rez photos below.

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part VI. San-Marino and shiny pantyhose

Three girls in mini skirts and shiny pantyhose. One of them is in a sort of a cheerleader outfit. 9 hi-rez photos (Attention! Some of them are 10MB in size!)

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part V. Romania and shiny pantyhose

Pity, that she was wearing this orange mini-skirt, black shiny swimsuit with some kind of a harness with “big ears” behind her shoulders and very shiny pantyhose only for one rehearsal. During the show she was barelegged.

Fortunately we have quite a few high-rez photos (see below).

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part IV. Finland and fishnets

A red-head in fishnets. The pantyhose are visible only on hi-rez photos (see 5 below). A usual way to smooth out the stage look while keeping a “bare leg appearance”.

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part III. Georgia and leather studded swimsuits

They did not make it to the final, so I did not hear the song, and I do not know what it was about, and why the BDSM-looking outfit was needed. Indeed, what place would you think of first when you see aggressive studded leather combination of a swimsuit and a corset worn with black pantyhose and high heels?

6 hi-rez photos below.

Eurovision song festival 2012. Part II. Cyprus and latex

“Sexy librarians” from Cyprus as British media called them or “fetish librarians” as I called them were full of surprises.

Let’s begin with the singer (Ivi Adamou).

When I said:”Oh! I like her without any music!”
My daughter’s reaction was quick:”Is that because she’s wearing pantyhose?”. I actually liked her cunning naughty catlike smile, which reminded me Liv Tyler, but yes I did notice the pantyhose 😉

Then, when I was browsing through the photos, my son mentioned: “Hm.. strange… On these photos she’s not wearing pantyhose”.

The thing is – her legs were always bare. It was the lighting what made her appear as she was wearing light shade sheer pantyhose.

And then there was another surprise. Have a look at the other girls. Continue reading “Eurovision song festival 2012. Part II. Cyprus and latex”

Eurovision song festival 2012 and shiny pantyhose. Part I

Anybody watched Eurovision 2012? I ignored it for the last 10 or so years but this year we happen to turn the TV on during the final and out of educational/investigative interest we watched it till the end.

The bottom line – booooooring. Except a couple of funny acts and performances (Moldova and Russia) and a couple of quite strong pop-songs (Sweden and Ukraine). Many songs were “borrowed” from well-known hits (e.g. compare what Serbia and “Secret Garden” did), but the main goal of this post (or rather a series of posts) is, of course, not the singing.

Yes, it’s about the clothes. Whatever or whenever I watch, read, look around I always keep an eye on something tight, shiny, transparent, high heeled or bound. And from what I noticed on this song festival is that pantyhose are making a slow comeback to the stage.
