Update 24.02.2008 @ 21:00 Looks like it works again. Probably it was a glitch related to disabled plug-ins.
As subject says. Investigating…
Update 13.02.2008 @23:15: Looks like it’s working again. The problem was with the visual confirmation. Please try again and let me know if it still does not work.
Update 14.02.2008 @22:26: It does not work again…. Running out of ideas. Disabled GD Captcha but it still does not work.
Update 14.02.2008 @23:22 when I disable something I’m able to register. Then it stops working again. It works now.
Thanks much for your e-mails!
I hate that dry cough, I hate when everything hurts, I hate high temperature, I hate stuffy nose, I hate when it’s cold. The only thought about latex makes me shiver with disgust. I’m wearing pantyhose not because I like the clingy filmy sexy embrace of the shimmering material, but because they keep me warm.
What can I say? I caught a cold…
Yes I know the Photobucket morons removed more images. I’ve found a solution and implementing it at the moment. But they are blocking faster than I’m fixing pages 😉
The beginning of the story is here , here and here.
.. they are blocking pantyhose pack images, lingerie ads, fashion photography, art, photo art , product images … Particularly they “don’t like” women. (I wonder why the word “feminist” comes to my mind?).
I bet those idiots and cretins would block da Vinci, Michelangelo, Rubens, Rodin etc as well… Because those images “violate terms and conditions”:
… you may not:
Post, upload, email, or otherwise transmit, via the Site or Services, any Content that is unlawful, obscene, harmful, threatening, harassing, defamatory, or hateful, or that contains objects or symbols of hate, invades the privacy of any third party, contains nudity or pornography (including without limitation any child pornography or child erotica), is deceptive, threatening, abusive, inciting to unlawful action, defamatory, libelous, vulgar or violent, or constitutes hate speech, or is otherwise objectionable in the opinion of Photobucket;
That means anything can be removed, blocked, banned, binned, whatever, for no reason. Just like my Yahoo account.
Anyway, I’m looking for an alternative.
Photobucket is blocking images (see here and here). I either reupload them or host on the site itself. The former is not reliable, the latter is expensive (hey, the traffic has reached ~20GB per month!!!). Let me know (here, in the forum or by mail) what links are broken.
Update: This is UNBELIEVABLE! They blocked absolutely innocent drawings and photos! OMG, more work tonight….
Update 06.01.08 @01:48: I hate them …. They blocked masks, gags, plugs, latex clothes, Bondage Life drawings, G-tie drawings, something else I don’t know what it was yet. Not a panic situation, but definitely something to thoroughly think about and quickly. Had enough for today.
And yes, you can help. Please check the donate page.
Bloody hell… Why did nobody tell me that there was a nasty Ad on the site which was trying to install something, spawning windows, playing sounds etc? I’ve discovered that by an accident! Firefox for UNIX silently blocks all the crap, but Explorer for Windows was shouting madly.
So, the ad was from company called “Pay-Ads”. Don’t use it. And don’t use Internet Explorer. And don’t use windows. And don’t eat that yellow snow!
… so the design is kinda broken… :-\
…several hours ago. The company is aware of the issue. The service should be back by tomorrow.
BTW, I would like to mention the immediate response from the ShoppingAds owner Patrick Gavin. The ad campaign is still in the testing phase and not stable yet, but I like the attitude.
And thanks for clicking!
Update Nov 08, 2007 @21:26: The service is back! Please keep clicking!
