Flight attendants, stewardesses, pantyhose. Part II. Back to the 60’s

If you have a sudden urge to see dozens of women in shiny pantyhose, there is an easy 24×7 solution – go to the nearest big airport (see Flight attendants and shiny pantyhose). One small problem, unlike aerobics, usually below the knees.

That was not the case back in 60’s or 70’s – the years when two great inventions were made: pantyhose and mini skirt.

Can you imagine a flight attendant in super mini shorts or super mini dresses and pantyhose? It was quite normal 40-50 years ago. Unbelievable? See 16 photos below.

Flight attendants and shiny pantyhose

stewardesses in shiny pantyhoseStewardesses must wear pantyhose. This is required by the dress code. The colour of pantyhose is also declared by the contract. But I bet the “shinyness” is not there. This is something what flight attendants can choose.

And fortunately they choose shiny pantyhose! Isn’t that’s why some fetishists go to the airports from time to time, when the weather (or the country) is not pantyhose-skirt-friendly? ;-P
