Note 0 : I invite you to view in my favs-gallery other-self-bondages the video Time-Lapse-Hogtie of Alliebowstring, which presents a complete process for a more comprehensive self-bondage routine.
What's interesting to see is that good self-bondage requires practice and training to know where and how to place which length of ropes.
(1) I think there is no problem for tying yourself your legs, but if you have problems to tighten you must think that, for example, to tighten the rope around the knees by making several turns around this rope between the knees, you should not try to pass directly between the knees (already tightened), but pass higher between the thighs, and only tighten after making one or two turns.
(2) (3) This rope is 15 meters long but of course, you can use 3 ropes of 5 meters long each. You have to try to find the good length of the loops, which allows you to put your arms in and is enough thight but not too !
Once the correct length found you have to make a knot to block the loops
(4) (5) If you use many ropes, it is easier to do. To make the second level around the elbows I turn, once left, once right, once left, passing each time in the previous round. But again, the difficulty is to find the correct length, before making a knot to block the loops

Make a (very) simple knot at the end of a two meters long rope, but not exactly at the end, you must let a length of 10 centimeters after the knot (see why at step (16))
(9) Make a (very) simple slipknot with a loop after the first knot. The first knot is to prevent the end of the rope slide out
(10) Make , by example, 5 loops with this initial loop. Be carefull, begin with only 3 loops, the more loops you have, the more difficult the escape can be
Note 1 : I will show you how it works in front of you, and it is a good advice to begin with hands tied in front of you, beacause it is easier to free yourself !
(11) (12) Attach the other end of the wrist rope, for example, to the knee rope, The goal will be to pull on this rope to tighten the wrists.
Slide on of your wrists in the loops, and then the other wrist in the loops
(13) (14) Pull the wrists up to tighten the loops. To help the loops slide and tighten, rotate your wrists while rubbing them against each other.
(15) Undo the knot attaching the rope at the knees and retie a knot with a shorter length of rope to be able to really tighten the wrists.
(16) Important : the free 10 eentimeters length part of the wrist rope is to allow you to loosen the rope by pulling on it. Without this small piece, you can easily get stuck, especially with your hands tied behind your back.
(17) Wedge the wrist rope with its prepared loops into the belly rope
(18) (19) Slide your arms from the front in the loops of the elbow level, then bring the wrists behind the back, which also brings the elbows behind the back
(20) Slide your wrists in the stomach loops, then in the wrists rop loops
(21) (22) Attach the other part of the wrists rope to the upper thighs rope to allow you to pull on it too tighten the wrists rope (think to move the wrists to help the loops sliding).
Redo the knot with a shorter length of rope, and pull again on the wrists leaning forward.
Note 2 : If you are lying down, with ankles tied up, attach the free part of the wrist rope to the ankles, with knees bent. When you will extend your legs, it will tighten the wrist rpo
Note 3 : It is less easy to do in your back, and to undo too, be very carefull !!!
