I suspect there is a great deal of looking backwards through rose tinted glasses and the general fog of time.

For example as a young adult in the 80's my fantasy memories are of Madonna, Pat Benetar, Christine Brinkley, Joan Jett, Heather Locklear and others (my testosterone overdose needed an outlet ) - but I know that not every girl in the nightclubs looked anything like those ladies (and I didn't look like Tom Selleck, even with my 'tash'!)

...but I do have fond memories 😁
