One concern - if the plug is too soft and the internal resistance is too strong, instead of sliding father in, the plug might bend and coil up.

I was following some of the links above and discovered this remote control inflatable plug!
 
The remote inflation and vibration is very interesting and conjures up a whole new bunch of fantasies.
I was slightly alarmed that they made a big thing about the device being "...explosion proof.."    Though if I was all tied up and helpless I guess that would be a big plus!!!

I actually have one of these and the "explosion proof" bit is because there's a limiter that turns off the pump after a certain amount of time. It gets around 2.5" wide at most, which still isn't something to sneeze at. Add in the vibrator function not being "dissipated" by the abundance of air like I've experienced in other vibrating inflatables, and it can get to be quite the ride.
I've not gotten to try it in an actual bondage scenario yet. Now I wonder if I would buy this remote one or the inflatable one with the ball inside.  
On the first hand Remote is good and it seems quite a thing but being able to sit and wear the plug transparently is not possible with this one.
On the other hand, well, no remote but you can go to work or to eat outside without being annoyed.  I just wonder if it stays inflated (the old one I have deflate in a couple of minutes...)
