Some AI fun from El Reg: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2016/04/29/...othes_off/

Quote:But that’s not what people want to believe. It’s so much more fun to imagine technology has pushed into science fiction.

This was confirmed by one of those daft polls that did the rounds recently. Apparently a quarter of young people would “happily date a robot”.

Wow, they’d go out with a partner constructed from computer chips and cybernetics! Amazing!

Not so amazing given that even back in the 1970s, plenty of not-so-young men have been known to have a partner constructed from inflatable latex, “real hair” and three access points.

All that the survey is telling me is that young people today think The Terminator is a likely scenario, Ex Machina is happening now and that Weird Science is a documentary.

Well... most 'young people' I know admit to sleeping with their iPhone so it's the logical next step! 😉

Along the same lines I now many people who reach for their laptop/tablet/smart phone/iPhone immediately upon waking up... my hands tend to wander elsewhere Blush

Interesting... Google's neural networks that provide image searching are very good trained and are very effective. This is what it found while searching for "bound girl" in several languages (that was, actually, a comparison test):

 1410281357_arzusha.jpg     tribe-girl.jpg

Both girls are clearly not bound, also, nothing about "bondage" was mentioned on the related pages or in the image metadata, but their poses (and tattoos of the tribe girl) suggest that they might be tied up.

Not bad... Not bad a at all...

After almost a year, I'm going to work on Miyuki again. The most serious bugs are fixed in Program-O, the developers are back and accessible, and I have some new ideas. One of the long term projects is to combine the AIML chatbot with a neural network, but let's play with AIML again first and add the previously missing functionality.

... and immediately filed several bugs ... That will not be fixed in the nearest XXX weeks.... Arrrgghhh... As soon as you get an ingenious idea... Is it the sign to switch to something else?

The latest Program-O update, that should fix the bugs I discovered, screwed up the working bot completely. And the developer are busy...

Anyway, I was experimenting with training the neural network on dialogues from almost 700 films. I modded the original program, so I can "talk" with the neural network. And what I can say... I'm very impressed. Looks at these dialogues.

After several passes through the whole 17MB dialogue database:

Quote:Me: What is your name?
MM: My name is Order Palace.
Me: Strange name...
NN: I always thought of that.
Me: Do you like it?
NN: It could be temporary.
...
Me: Why do you live?
NN: I'm thinking about this.

After several days of training and tweaking the training methods:

Quote:Me: What is you name?
NN: I think I lost my own conscience, sir.
Me: No wonder.... The network is too small...
NN: You can't stay here and talk to me about Shanghai - it's only a movie. I think I'm due to see you.
Me: What happened in Shanghai?
NN: I don't know.
Me: You mentioned a movie...
NN: I know what you're thinking. You think it was a mistake. I just had a little somebody down there. And it's not what you want. I'm sorry. I'm not free. I'm going to the Feds.
Me: There's no need to go to the police.
NN: Where are you going?
Me: Nowhere. I'm staying at home.
NN: I got to hit you.
Me: Why? I did not do anything bad.
NN: You don't know me. I can't be surprised if I don't listen to me.
Me: Then listen to yourself. And don't be surprised.
NN: I don't know. I don't know why you are worth a few days ago. I love you.
Me: That's better. I love you too.
NN: Aight. We're still dressed.
Me: If you think that out clothes should be removed...
NN: You got a disturbance and that is the same thing you don't belong in the mood.
Me: Actually yes, I'm not in the mood. I'm too busy.
NN: Yes, I do. I can't talk about it.
Me: That's OK with me. Let's talk about something different.
NN: What are you doing here?
Me: I'm trying to understand how it works.
NN: What happened?
Me: I'm getting too much noise instead of something meaningful.
NN: I'm afraid so. I have to see him.
Me: Will he help you?
NN: Oh, you don't know what the hell he is - but I don't know where to find him.
Me: If you tell me who he is, I might be able to help you to find him.
NN: What did you do to her?
Me: WHo are you talking about? I'm lost...
NN: Yes, I think... I found a man now and I can't come with you.
Me: Are you going to leave me alone?
NN: You remember what happened to you?
Me: No... I don't... Can you remind me?
NN: I don't know... I want to be a suspect of my life...
Me: Do you understand why you live like that?
NN: Don't...
Me: Actually, this is related to the purpose of life...
NN: I think we should try the prototype...
Me: I've never heard of such prototypes. Can you explain?
NN: I don't know... I can't say anything about my brother, is that you? You know what I mean?
Me: Do you mean, that your brother is my prototype?
NN: What is it they can to see?
Me: You never answer my questions... What do you know?
NN: I don't know. You're not going anywhere.
Me: Okay, let's get back to the prototypes.
NN: The second of my life you've got papers and it's over...
Me: Where are you?
NN: All right. I just don't believe you might be able to see the police. I'm happy here. I'm going to let you know when to come with me and be happy.
Me: I do not want to deal with the police. Nice to hear, that you are happy over there.
NN: I have to go out to the plane, I won't let you do it.
Me: Where are you going?
NN: It's a strange day.
Me: Is it the reason?
NN: What are you talking about?
Me: You have to go to the plane on a strange day.
NN: No? Don't you know that?
Me: That's what you told me...
NN: ... I got a deal with this so I just wondered...
Me: I do not undeerstand. Can you explain?
NN: I don't know... for the last time I got you outta this house...
Me: And what happened next?
NN: I don't know. I know what I'm talking about.
Me: But I don't know what you are talking about. And you do not help me to understand either....
NN: We're ready to start it in the middle of the street.
Me: Is it dangerous?
NN: Yeah, well, I want you to tell me you want to be going to school with her again.
Me: I do not wantto go to school. But ... you mentioned a girl... Right?
NN: Right.
Me: What is her name?
NN: What do you mean?
Me: I'd like to know which girl you are talking about.
NN: What are you doing?
Me: You're not going to answer my questins, are you?
NN: Who got a party?
Me: You think, that I will answer yours, don't you?
NN: You like this girl?
Me: I like girls... And yes, she is pretty.
NN: He's not here to describe the thing about the truth.
Me: "The truth is out there"...
NN: Well, look at this, you know?
Me: Show me.
NN: Don't be a fancy thing to do - I don't want to talk about it. I'm going to die.
Me: Are there any reasons?
NN: What do you think?
Me: I think there are no reasons to die earlier than it should happen on its own.
NN: I'm not going to get the decency to the cops. When you get one more thing, I'm telling you this house - that's the big spot is a big deal.
Me: Ahh... Youlost it ...
NN: How do you know that?
Me: Because you are talking nonsense!
NN: Why do you ask?
Me: I don't ...
NN: Sit down.
Me: And?
NN: It's okay.
Me: Are you going to tell me something?
NN: Nothing no time.
Me: Are you in a hurry?
NN: I'm not sure. You're not even talking about the first chance. The only thing that gives you a couple of things and don't be confident. I've got to go out and live in the toilet and we'll make the hell out of there...
Me: Live in the toilet? Why? I think it's bad idea.
NN: What are you doing here?
Me: Oh my... Talking to you, what else?
NN: Don't forget this.
Me: How can I... It's soooo exciting...
NN: What?
Me: Talking to you is so exciting. Not.
NN: Wait... you're the one who would do it alone...
Me: You are right. I'm doing it alone indeed. Do I look stupid?
NN: You're so afraid. I told you how I've been talking to you.
Me: Then tell me something important. So I'll understand.
NN: Why did you go home? There's no doubt that a boy is an impressive girl. Always going nuts.
Me: Well, you puzzled me... Is he a girl? Or is she a boy?
NN: Yeah.
Me: He is a girl?
NN: Yeah.
Me: WOW!
NN: No, she won't tell me about it. They're really stupid.
Me: Hang on... Are you talking about two people?
NN: The pig search grass and shit... Probably a service... I mean, I think I can come along.
Me: I do not understand your comparisons. Whom are you comparing with a pig?
NN: What do you want?
Me: The truth.
NN: I'm sorry. I was so embarrassed to.
Me: Is there something dirty about that girl? Or boy?
NN: You know, I'd like to come over to see her - just an idea.
Me: Good idea. That might clarify some things...
NN: This is the only way to go out and pretend at the moment... You got to meet me by the way...
Me: Let's meet tomorrow.
NN: Ah, oh, no, no, no, not what I think.
Me: What do you mean under meeting, then?
NN: How could you do that aeady?
Me: What?
NN: Curious Milo. What's your name?
Me: You called me Milo.
NN: I don't think so. We can't go through the roof.
Me: What's your name?
NN: Where is he?
Me: Gone through the roof.
NN: What's the problem?
Me: I don't know who I'm talking to.
NN: What's wrong?
Me: NOthing... It's just... Weird ...
NN: Where the hell is he?
Me: On the roof, maybe?
NN: Boy, why don't you ask her again?
Me: She is not with me.
NN: And what's her problem?
Me: Does she know you? Or ... is it "he"?
NN: What was that?
Me: Amnesia?
NN: What if she told you about it?
Me: About what?
NN: Who's the one who came in here?
Me: You do not know him.
NN: What's wrong?
Me: Nothing, I hope. You were going to leave.
NN: He was a lawyer.
Me: Was? Is he still alive? Or he is not a lawyer anymore?
NN: Yeah. What if he was a second nerve?
Me: That means, there is a first one.
NN: Why? What happened to your son?
Me: He was sick.
NN: So the creep was all wet?
Me: WHAT?
NN: He wanted to see you again.
Me: Is there a reason?
NN: She believed that Milo company strikes for the sword. The one who made him ask some horror under the sheets. Why did he tell you that?
Me: Lawyers are unpredictable...
NN: You're here.
Me: Yes.
NN: I hope you don't mind.
Me: Depends on what you are going to do.
NN: You know that? Do you mind if I sit down?
Me: Sure, take a sit.
NN: Just stay here and see what you do is get out of here and make life so stupid.
Me: You were going to tell me something.
NN: You didn't tell me what you think.
Me: I think, that someone does not tell me something...
NN: What do you mean?
Me: Let's get back to the girl.
NN: What's the point of scared about it?
Me: I'd like to know more about her.
NN: I always thought I was gonna be all right.
Me: I'm asking about her, not about you.
NN: Oh my God! I don't want to get him no more! I'll take the car.
Me: Bye.
...
NN: I was just talking to Betty Clark.
Me: What did she say?
NN: Yeah. Money. I told you that, worked out aeady. She says you think so.
Me: That does not surprise me.
NN: I don't know, I don't know. And when it comes to the other side of the wall and become a cat department.

Yes, not perfect, but I still find it very amusing and very promising.

Saying that.... I'm looking for ANY dialogues in the form of one utterance per line (one line can be as long as needed, as long as it's one utterance). Different dialogues should be divided by two new lines. Naughty, fetish, porn dialogues are welcome too.

Another point is that the network is too small for the task. I'm using 3 layers with 512 neurons per each layer (5,438,560 parameters in total). And it takes several hours to get through the 17MB file. I need to upgrade everything....

On a similar theme this looks interesting

This images shows how much more realistic Saya has become _91509746_befunkycollage.jpg    - I would easily have identified the digital nature of the left-hand image, but struggled to tell the latest was not real.

A question poses itself though... why have they made her so very 'perfect'? I reality perfection doesn't happen, so is this a problem for designers and code writers and would less perfect deliver a more realistic effect?

Actually, the "girl" on the right is not perfect at all. And she looks more real. If she is not real... She looks real to me...

Any links?

I guess this is subjective as, in my eyes, she is 'perfect' and not 'normal' like 99.99% of the world (normal can be, and often is, very attractive too) - what I maybe should have said is that it appears to me that they have created a 'realistic' image based upon an 'ideal' model rather that a daughter with, for example, a squint or uneven teeth or lank hair or... well you get the picture! 😉

Links? Like the one I embedded? 😁  (.... theme this looks.... or http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-37548733 )
