It is indeed the pull rope, I use the same straps one uses to secure things on a car or something, with the metal buckle that only lets the strap slip one way until you press it to release. It serves the same purpose as the special ring device but it works better. It is not "pure" rope bondage any more but I have bought some rope ratchets that will look better on screen 😉
The release is a simple knot, sorry I'm bad with naming them, the same you would use to tie your shoes. So pulling one end releases it. It ties a ring with the pull rope to an anchor ring between my shoulder blades. The end for the realease is threaded trough the rings on my mask and goes over my head to the ring in front. This is simply duct taped to the mask so it can be pulled loose after I anchor it. Then I continue pulling and the knot on my back between my shoulder blades is pulled loose, the pull rope is now no longer attached and I can free my hands.

Sorry, I don't number :p You are free add some structure but I just post them. It is not a tv series you need to watch in order.

An excellent video and so many thanks for sharing your session with us.
Thanks! It is quite some work to make a video, especially clearing the view of all things that are to recognisable, putting the lights up, setting up all camera's and editing the video. And then afterwards put everything away before the misses comes home. I don't do this for recognition of my work, my other video's get very low scores on myvideo, but it does feel good to know some people liked it. It is for "educational purposes" 😉 The net has some self bondage video's but most techniques displayed just suck and I know I have some good ones so stay tuned for more! I plan on recording my self suspension bondage within the next few months.

I use whatever I have, I have two webcams, a little key cam, a dv cam I got on ebay for 50€ and my small digital camera does some decent video as well for a sub 100€ camera (nikon coolpix). Some small (12cm) tripods I got for a few € were money well spent.
You don't see it in the video but there is 1000 Watts of halogen lights in every video I make. It is needed to capture everything and later in the pc I can make it darker, making it lighter is impossible. It is not the camera, it's the lights.
Buy lights! Those things on tripods to light building sites or gardens are cheap, 100€ of these makes my cheap photo cam record better video than a 500€ video camera in "regular" lights.
I'm a Linux user so I can not give you advice on software for Windows but Linux has lots of video editors, I use KDEnlive. Try it for free with a live cd, like
Ubuntu Studio, no need to install it, it runs from cd and lets you edit almost any video format.

eady asked, but I too would like to understand how your release worked in a little more detail.
I tried explaining, if it is not clear I might do a little video for this release method.

Thanks again, I'll definitely add more but it will take some time.
