Got new Puma shoes. I figured it makes a good excuse for some selfies (the MJINM leggings are still amazing) ;

I imagine thin sheer bronze coloured pantyhose under your leggings 😋

Must be really good imagination....because we have a heat wave here in Asia now, every day 35 degrees C - feels like 40 actually.

Don't matter if one wears baggy board shorts or leggings, just as long as it's a single layer of fabric - thankfully i'm not the intensely sweaty kind of person.

35-40... wow....+8 here. I don't like either. +23, please!
Time to add something. I've been a dancewear/lycra enthusiast from my earliest memories, but my latest obsession is hiking in leggings, and my leggings collection has grown absurdly large. I usually do so at night, and although I get a few second-glances on occasion, most people don't seem to care. Underneath, I'm wearing a dance belt in warm weather and a thong leotard and tights in cooler weather.

Lunch & day trip out (my wife's birthday) with my wife, my brother-in-law and his wife.

Lunch was at a trendy hip resto in BGC Manila, and then to fake little "Venice" replica in Manila, plenty of crowds going about.

All in my Lycra leggings...

So I've got post feeds such as Kapowmeggings on my Instagram, because I like to keep an eye on how Lycra leggings and mainstream fashion intersect (or clash).

And oh boy, perhaps they should consider repositioning themselves, because despite their best intentions and efforts,
they have become quite the toxic hate magnet.
Any post or ad of theirs, gets tons of these toxic comments, even vile thinly veiled violent semi-threats... all because they can't handle seeing a guy in leggings.

I am aware that memories are usually rose-tinted, but OMFG, has this world turned so regressive and toxic since the end of the 90s or what?
It's like that Dutch "phenomenon" of the early 2000s known as "Badpak Boy" and how he got roasted on sites like Partyflock dot NL, but this stuff nowadays is just multiple times worse. Granted, a chubby guy in a women's Speedo S2000 one piece swimsuit is a whole other level than an advertisement guy in leggings and long Tee, but that just shows how much more hardline they have become in their toxic masculinity worldview.
So yeah, I do agree, there is reason for caution....depending where you are/go.

The pendulum....
We are going thorough a very toxic swing right now..... populist politicians & pundits spewing irrelevant nonsense about the loss of the "real male" aesthetic/character and is swallowed eagerly by large portions of the public & lighting fires... Distracts nicely from the real issues we are facing and which they are not dealing with. In the US they spent over $215 million on anti trans campaigns during the election cycle, do the math how much that is per trans person (hint population 240m and somewhere between between 0.06% and 0.60% of adults identify as transgender) . Just insane. Similar nonsense in the EU.

In mock Latin: Illegitimi non carborundum ....or ... Don't let the bastards grind you down.

This is what they are doing in China, and that's why Bambi Sleep is banned there.

I'm not surprised, have read about the general issue there at least. Is a global problem currently & especially popular with populist and authoritarian movements.
Most people who visit this site are potential targets, regardless of your gender. Non-conformity to social "norms" and bronze age religious text translations & interpretations are enough.

- Don't look here, look there at "them", "they" (normally a very small minority) are your problem.
- Redefine what "they" are and incite fear and hate to fit their agenda and intended results (it does not have to reflect reality or make any sense at all logically & never does under scrutiny...)

Same old story same old song, and very effective, especially with the social media echo chambers we have today.

Don't tolerate it, at the end of the day it can effect everyone (including the general public which swallows the crap whole & without reflection).

As the pastor Martin Niemöller said, who declined to speak out early on when it would have made a difference, after surviving Dachau (short version):

First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out— Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- And there was no one left to speak out for me.

They may not have the same "final solution" in mind, but the tactics are from the same playbook, they are destroying the rights, the livelihood and lives of people for their own personal gains.

So, I'll stop here, fairly off topic for lycra.
