All Good Girls must have beautiful long hair! And on the scalp! Not on the back, arms and legs!

This is the thread on how to improve your hair.

Let's start with something I (and my family) successfully tried - Minoxidil (wiki)

We use only 5% minoxidil topically. Daily. Result: a brush of new hair in about two months. Can be bought everywhere, for example eBay: Minoxidil

Can be successfully combined with eBay: derma roller for hair loss or derma roller for hair loss on Ali

Interestingly enough, how minoxidil works is still not quite understood.

Next. eBay: Saw Palmetto or Saw Palmetto on Aliexpress.

See the description (and links to research articles) here: https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread...0#pid71250

The good things are: you can buy it freely from everywhere, the dosage can be high, and, most likely, there will be no side effects.

I use it daily. Around 800-1200mg per day. After several months I noticed much less hair lying around, more new short hair on my head. And, I think, even my prostate feels better.

Once more: at least 3 months, better - half a year. Then decide if it works for you.

While Saw Palmetto is still questionable, finasteride (wiki) does work. And according to the research papers - 18000 times more efficient, than Saw palmetto. It can be bought as 1% (for hair loss treatment) and 5% (for benign prostate hyperplasia treatment).

For 5% finasteride you need a prescription (everywhere).
For 1% finasteride you do not need a prescription only in some countries.

Reading the wikipedia link, finasteride also seems to work the other way around, impeding hair growth in unwanted areas of the face. Two birds with one stone, so I'd say it's worth a try.

Exactly, just like Saw palmetto or any other DHT killers.
Once more, just in case: whatever you try, you have to do it for at least 3 months to check for any results. Better half a year. Hair follicles have to "wake up", then the hairs must become thick and strong enough to get through the skin, then they have to grow "en masse" to be clearly visible.

From the wiki:

Quote:It is commonly stated that hair grows about 1 cm per month on average; however reality is more complex, since not all hair grows at once. Scalp hair was reported to grow between 0.6 cm and 3.36 cm per month. The growth rate of scalp hair somewhat depends on age (hair tends to grow more slowly with age), sex, and ethnicity. Thicker hair (>60 μm) grows generally faster (11.4 mm per month) than thinner (20–30 μm) hair (7.6 mm per month).
