A dilemma I never thought I'd have!!

Well I had the opportunity to try this again yesterday.
And it worked this time more or less... still took an extra reset before it properly worked...

Lycra-ed, plugged and in chastity in I went for some fun.

I ditched the SRD and went back to my tried and tested load straps, to stop it slipping I just wrapped it through a larger ice trap ring a few times so that it clove hitched itself into place.
I used karabiners on cuffs at all locations ( ankles, thighs, collar and wrists)
Used the hernia prevention builders belt to secure the waist
And wrapped a strap around the bar and knees to lock those in.
Elbow retaining stiffened innertube failed .. and end pulled out... need to rethink the anchoring of that.

Once I got in and pulled the strap tight pulling the arms down firmly behind me I was in and staying in until time was up or I broke something.
Rolling over was not and option, all I succeeded in doing was creating either forwards by a few cm or closer to the edge of the bed (BAD!!!)

After a while unfortunate something did break... I suffered ice sock failure under the strain of pulling and twisting and I was free.... lasted about 10 minutes before it failed.

I had video of the full session, but unfortunately they are nowhere to be found on the memory card... I could see them on the camera, but despite 3.5gb of 'usage on the card' no physical files existed...grrr 😟

Strange. An internal format not fully converted to .avi? Check for hidden files.

Could not find anything unfortunately.
Full Format of the card has now taken place with a re-initialise of it within the camera too so hopefully it Doesn't happen again.

It wasn't only my session vids that could not be seen from pc either... there were some old family clips too.

Sounds like your card is dying, some bad sectors in the right place can mess up everything. On Linux there is a program called photorec that can help you recover most of it but after that you should throw out that card.

Thinking about it, I don't recall seeing a directory that had been there in the past (where the video files end up)
I must have deleted in in error last time I took some vids off of. I think the card is fine.
Hopefully a format and reset of the file structure will sort it.
