I'm new to selfbondage, but i really like it especially hogtie. I imagined some technique that would be awesome, but i need a handcuff for all of them but i really haven't have that much money for it. Maybe ~40 USD but i live in europe so i need one which i can buy in EU. I hope somebody can help me with it.
Inspired by an American form of corporal punishment in the civil war armies, I wanted to try this out myself.
Gear: my newly arrived cuffs that needed testing: 2 wristcuffs, 2 anklecuffs and one neckcuff. All lockable of course ๐
my neoprene wetsuit (3/5mm)
rope and chain for connecting it all together
a white-noise soundfile on repeat.
As it was >23ยฐC I used my bladder for hydration.
My trusty timer safe.
It was fun to try it out. You should too ^^
After about 15 minutes I started to feel my back, 5 minutes later it starts to become painfull. At the 30 minute mark, it was really starting to become uncomfortable. After 45 minutes I started to shuffle around to find relief for my back. But even 'relaxing' against my bench did not ease the pain in my back.I was really happy the hour passed much faster than an hour is supposed to pass ๐
What could be better:
As this is selfbondage, it is not supertight. I could move around a bit too much to my liking.
Because it is me, I screwed a knot somewhere so I got even more slack in the rope.
I noticed it is really tiresome for my mouth to not be able to close and hold the mouthpiece of my drinking bladder. I spit out the mouthpiece at about the 20 minute mark. I somehow got it back in my mouth 10 minutes later but after I spit it out again I was unable the get another sip of water. Because it was so hot (my wetsuit was really soaked after the hour) I had a little headache because of dehydration.
I would like to try this out in real bondage, a lot tighter and with someone else as a release (and the only release)
I tried this in the morning, I could still feel my back in the evening. Loved every second of it!
After further thinking about this, the punishment is called "bucked and gagged". I did not have a gag in my mouth, so gonna retry this later this week/month/year, properly gagged.
But I'll wear clothing that will not make me sweat like a pig (weird expression btw, pigs can't sweat)
I have what I call the Tree of Pain. It is a 6 inch by 8 inch beam about 8 foot long. I drilled 1 1/8th inch holes through it at several places and put hard wood dowels through it. For the lowest one that is stood on I cut grooves into it half way around. The other dowels get put in place for the knees, thighs. lower back, chest, arms and head.
I made a set of brackets to mount it in place from the floor and ceiling so it cannot be moved or fall.
When it is time for the session to begin I step up on the lowest dowel and strap and tie myself in. From bottom to top there is no way to be pain free. When the feet need a break, the weight gets shifted to the elbows. With the hood and ball gag you cant hear or see anything and after about 20 minutes I'm hopping around waiting for the damn ice release to drop me the keys to the handcuffs.
As it is only a test, only playgear was used:
long lycra running pants
long armed lycra leotard
ankle cuffs
neoprene/velcro wrist cuffs
neoprene waist support belt
a couple of meters rope.
First 30 minute test (dark picture, sorry):
the load on the knees is too much, your knees get painfull very soon.
The position gives too much stress on your lower back, it hurts very fast; very, very unpleasant feeling.
Anklecuffrope cuts in my shoulder. Quit after 20 minutes, the pain in my back was too much, needed a long time to recuperate.
Second 30 minute test
the position is better, no knee problems, no (only slight) lower back problems.
The stress on the shoulders is no problem. I just need to figure out how to get my elbows a little more together, I feel like I have too much freedom.
The rope from the anklecuffs now runs under my shoulder, but I get the feeling my ankles are drawn that way instead of being centered.
It is all a test needs to be, next will be a one hour test without escape.
It is pretty immobile, that is what I am looking for. The position is not really comfortable, but not really uncomfortable either.
I got really warm, I was sweating very much, I will use a bladder for hydration next attempts. Don't think I will use my latex catsuit but unsure.
But it will have to wait, a friend called to go climbing. I like that gear...
If price is not an issue, and the sole concern is comfort, style and range, which one do you prefer?
Personally, I love Falke and like Wolford, since Falke is the only brand that I've tried so far that has toe seams that doesn't bother me after a long day's wear.
Hopefully this topic doesn't violate any rules....

ANYWAYS, I am super curious about the whole topic of bondage and stuff and was wondering if there was anyone in the Portland/Vancouver area that does any kind of sample session for lack of better word?
I don't really have a partner to try bondage with but I am curious as to what its all like. Some of those rope ties (among other things) look so cool I just wanna experience it once you know? lol
Not looking for anything sexual or whatever, just plain curiousness of the bondage itself.

Hi so i have recently been lurking around the forums looking at the SB techniques etc. But now i thought i would hope into the community soo hi im a 18yo male๐
In my tradition of building my own bondage gear, I've decided on my next project - a bondage frame. This is going to be a big project, so I'm doing some planning in advance to make sure everything goes well.
The current plan is a frame constructed from dimensional lumber (4x4s, 2x6s, etc.) that will fit around my bed and reach most of the way to the ceiling. With this in mind, I decided to throw it into a 3D modeling program to see how it would turn out.
I've included the bed (queen size, for reference). The main posts are 4x4s, the 6 horizontal spans are 2x6s, and the 4 diagonal struts are 2x4s, all held in place with carriage bolts.
This design gives enough clearance for me to use the bed normally, has tie-off points at multiple elevations, and has the additional advantage of creating a St. Andrews Cross on the end. I plan on using it for full and partial suspension. I also thought it could be used as a whipping post by removing the long middle span on one side and tying to the middle, thus allowing for full 360 degree access with arms overhead.
Now for a question. Does anyone see any structural issues I may have missed? Should I be bracing diagonally across the top? Will the double spans on both sides be sufficient to stop it from shearing in the long dimension? Should I be going about this differently? I have a physics background, not an engineering one, and would prefer not to have this come crumbling down the first time I put weight on it.
