I announced it here , I have a new toy and it's a remote controlled padlock. It works with Bluetooth low energy and the Tuya app. Some other toys from AliExpress, like the two kinds timer padlocks that I know of, are crappy toys that you can break easily. This however feels really solid and I've been testing it for two days now and decided I'm doing a test run in selfbondage with it.
Setup is a hogtie where I tie my wrists with a coil of rope that I secure to my upper legs with the RC padlock. The rope that pulls my legs into the hogtie was intentionally tied with a reachable knot as I was not really sure how long I would be able to stand it.
The release is controlled by my mobile phone. To open the lock you can use finger prints, which I did not register (I had to register one but I used my little toe so I won't be able to open the lock with a finger. I was going to put some tape on it but then thought of this), or the Tuya app. I installed Automate on my phone and wrote a little script that asks for a duration and then pauses for that duration before opening the app, going to the lock and then repeatedly opening it in case it failed the first time. I've been testing this script almost non stop for two days while working from home, found a few ways to break it, fixed those, test again etc...

Went very well. Next time I'll make the hogtie with an unreachable knot but then I'll be using an ice lock as a backup because going anywhere hogtied with legs secured like this is not something I'll risk relying on to get to my backup scissors.
