Ok, I want to add some things here as a transwoman myself. At 43 I finally came to terms that I am a transgender woman. I started transition last fall and have been on HRT since early December 2013. In mid march I started living full time and being transgender has allowed me to be me. I'm still kinky and into bondage, but it's taken the backseat on priorities. (My wife and I still play in our local dungeon.) I just got my court order my my name change and my letters to change my gender on my DL, Passport and SS card. (Just waiting the 30 days for the court order to go into effect.) There are many transgender women who DON'T get surgery. For some it's not a requirement. For me, I will definitely have one of the surgeries and leaning towards full SRS. I'm just scared to loose sensitivity. I know many transwomen who identify as a lesbian like myself that only get an orchiectomy done and they are perfectly happy with that.

Being transgender is NOT a fetish, (but I love wearing fetish clothing), but there is a commonality between transgenderism and cross dressing. Cross dressing is by itself is a fetish when one gets sexually exited by the act (Nothing wrong with that at all), but generally that person doesn't want to live as a woman everyday. Once you go all the way as a transgender woman, that's it, you can't really go back to the way things were. Cross dressing you can go back anytime you want.

I understand what you are talking about. I like female in the inside, but a am a male on the outside.
Yes I have my so-called fetish or kinks, but cross dressing does not really turn-me-on, so to speak.
Skirts give me the freedom to move freely. Also, some women's jeans fit me better than men's jeans. The fact than women's clothing seem more comfortable to wear than the men's clothing would be because deep inside of me, there is a woman.

But I don't get a hard-on wearing female clothing.

But what does turns me on, is bondage, and that is my kink. And my fetish is wearing costumes while in bondage.

At lease that is what I think is going on in my head.

In short, cross dressing does really nothing for me by itself.
Bondage doesn't really do it by itself.
But combined them both, and I'm there. Enjoying every second till I explode, and everything comes back to normal.

But wearing female clothing by itself, nothing but comfort for me, and it helps me cope with this damn heat rash I get every summer.

Suddenly I realised, that nowadays I wear only women's clothes at home. However, they do not look like "women's" on me 😉 Various pantyhose/tights, water-polo (high neck, closed back, open shoulders) swimsuit and very tight very mini jeans shorts. Pretty much unisex sporty look, but you would never confuse me with a girl (ok, may be with a swimmer 😉 )

I have been wearing woman's jeans for years. Because women have that nice large rump, and I have a small rump, I can bend over without displaying the pink thong I love to wear.

I was intrigued the other day by a tumblr site just for transgenders, and I was quite "fascinated" by how they managed to change their appearence completely and some of them still resemble a man. I like women clothes as well some of the users of this site, I don't think I'll ever change my sex but I'm always fantasizing about wearing women clothes all day and stuff like that but I know it's hard to achieve the transformation without surgery, hormones etc. I've read some old post in this thread about the "pussy" conversion or something like that. I don't know the implications about not using you normal genitalia as before and the problems you could have. 

For example, this one caught me off guard, I didn't know "he" was a man, his face looks completely feminine, his body tells me "he" is a woman 
           

In this case ignore the fact that "she" has a penis, if you ignore this you could totally fall that he is a "she", of course he didn't do anything to his penis and still he can be a woman completely in my opinion (it's a fantasy to be like him, I would not change my gender but it's amazing the change)
   

Here is another example of a "bad" transformation (it's not bad, but you can still see the man face) and maybe he was very masculine before so the change it way harder than other transgender. I can't tell if its a complete transformation, implants, pussy transformation or whatever it's called
           

And those two are the most common about fetish users, they like to dress as a girl (like me) and you can still tell they are man more easy than the others. 
       

I'm not totally sure about this one, everything looks fine but it was in the trans tumblr, looks like a girl but her face it's a bit manly.

I haven't seen the video but here are other examples of complete transformation in my opinion and without removing the man genitalia, it's weird how if you ignore the penis, it's a complete girl in all the aspect (in my opinion)

I think we need a sub-forum for crossdressing (including drag acts, etc). Very difficult to differentiate and separate (because two thirds of the site is dedicated to traditionally women's clothing 😁 ), but the TS/TV/CD content gets mixed up with the rest, yet it's quite an interesting subject on its own. Any ideas are welcome.
