Double ratchet hogtie with ice lock

I wanted to do yet another hogtie, after saying I needed to explore other things in my previous thread . So I got out the shiny bed sheet and got in shiny leggings and matching leotard that are an absolute joy to slide around with on that bedding.

This is known as the double ratchet technique, one rope ratchet high up the back and the other at the feet. You pull slack away with your hands at the ratchet at your feet, the one at your feet pulls slack away at the one one your back and the one on your back pulls your wrists up high so you end up in a hogtie with hands between shoulder blades.

I was prepared with another ice lock that was supposed to go at my neck, but at the last minute I decided against it as it would take probably 3 hours to melt, and I was not going to commit for that long a session. The other ice lock melts faster, so the plan was to have that connecting the other ratchet to my ankles, so I would be hogtied for about 40 minutes and then in a more sustainable position for the remainder of the longer ice lock. But as I said, change of plans and I used the shorter ice lock only. The result was that I had more reach with my hands and could undo the hogtie a few minutes in. The wrist tie was tight enough to prevent me from undoing the knot in front of my body, or I would have gotten out early.

Although the bondage could be better, I really enjoyed the slippery struggle the fabrics of the bedding and catsuit provided, I'll have to do that again 😊

I take it that for your double ratchet youve custom threaded 2 standard ratchets with one rope so that the pull line from one becomes the lift line of the other etc?

When I first looked at your still images I thought "Oh, bare feet, that's not pretty, what a shame. Why has Anne dressed like that?" - but when I zoomed in I discovered your feet covered in lovely nylon!

So, please accept my my profuse apologies for ever doubting your ability to surprise and delight!  😁

Moving on...

• I love the session - so much going on, but in such a, comparatively, simple way. Yes another endorsement of the KISS principle! 
  
• The 'double-ratchet' set-up is very clever and I shall be stealing that idea in some future session of my own   
  
  
• The shiny bedsheet is a lovely touch too. I have one of my own (I'm sure it's appeared in a post or two in the dim and distant past) and can highly recommend the sensation of sliding around in Lycra or nylon on a sheet made of similar material.... very, VERY erotic!
  
• I did spot how you 'easily'(?) escaped the hogtie by releasing the lower ratchet, it seems this was planned, but would you ever consider adding another of those ratchet covers you made, to prevent your fingers from depressing the latch? (like the red one higher up) I'm curious only abut how intense you plan your sessions to be - I very much doubt I could handle much more that 20mins in such a hogtie position, so having a 'staged release' is a very good idea.
  
  
• Did I spot a 'boob fondle' almost as soon as you'd escaped the hogtie part? I'm sure your hand briefly has a grope around the 17:40 mark!  😁  
  

And a couple of more technical observations, suggestions and questions:

• The rope around your chest to hold the ice-release looks very good, but I can't help noticing it seems rather close to your neck and that's a little scary! Are you sure it's safe in the way you tied it?
  
  
• The rope between the two ratchets could be made a little neater, I spotted it almost got tangled in front of you at one point before you'd tightened it up. I wonder if a simple waist rope/belt would neaten things up? If you ran the ratchet rope behind the belt/waist rope (or through a ring attached to one of them) it wouldn't slip off you body so easily and risk getting tangled up. 
  
  
• Your video quality is superb, especially as you've managed to get a clear image despite wearing dark clothing on a black background - is this down to good lighting or is there another tip you could share? I noticed in my own efforts when using the black sheet I have, that the video wasn't as clear as I'd have liked. Since then I've improved the lighting so maybe that's the fix? 
  
  I love the high angle viewpoint - how did you rig that?
  
  And, do you use separate microphones for the sound? Mine can be very 'hit and miss' but I only use the camera mic.
  
  
• And finally, I think I know the answer to this, but... could you have worn Lycra gloves for this session? With my own fetish for encasement I think some form of covering over your hands would have made everything even more superb, and made the escape just a little move challenging too!

I got requests for bare feet, so it could have gone either way! :p No, I prefer them covered, I'm not into feet. But once in a while I might have to indulge the other team.

Yes, I really should get to printing another one of those... The original plan was to use another ice lock in that place that would have had my hands a lot higher up my back so it wouldn't have been an issue. Actually all issues in this session come from the decision of not sticking to the plan. More on that later...

Had I stuck to the plan... Normally it would have been a clean loop with nothing in front of my neck, with just a ring on the back of my neck for the ice lock I was going to use initially. I did keep in mind that it should not ride up my neck and cause issues breathing while tying that, and it didn't, so this was fine, although it looks sloppy.

I think it only looked that way, I took care having everything lain out correctly and when starting to tighten everything it should all line up. I felt it did, so I continued, otherwise I would have corrected it first. Maybe a belt could have held everything in place easier, you mean then to take off the belt and tossing it aside before tightening?

- lots of natural light, it's extremely hard to get as much light from artificial lights as you get from natural light. I filmed in a room with 3 rather large windows with no curtains blocking any light.
- I added some artificial light. Because more light is better and because it makes the spandex sparkle a little bit more
- I cleaned up the stage, there is no junk in the frame. I put white sheets over the night stands and cleaned everything up. This helps with the next step:
- post-production: increasing brightness (on top of as much light as possible) and playing with the levels to push the background back and get details in the subject (me :p ) out. → This is A LOT easier if there is no junk in the frame. If you have random shit lying around this will start to pop out as well and distract, so by getting rid of this I can do a lot more extreme settings with the levels and get away with it.

- put my tripod on a table, so the highest setting reaches the ceiling
- tied my camera to a lamp
- tied my camera to a smoke detector
- fixed a tripod on top of an open door

I have a separate microphone, but I don't use it anymore. Maybe if I ever do an "arty" video or story again, but it's usually not worth the hassle.

I have a couple of pairs of lycra gloves, but they wear out so fast when in bondage. I've got so many gloves with ruined fingertips from trying to undo knots etc that I keep them for occasions where I know I won't spoil them.

Thanks, but I don't connect my hood to anything. It has it's own straps of course but I don't connect anything else to it.
