There is a very real chance that I will be left to my own devices for a whole day in the very near future.
This offers all sorts of opportunities for fun and games of the self-bondage kind! I have already decided not to buy any new gear (money is not easy at this time) and so anything I do will be ‘met from stock’ as they say. That still gives me with so much to play with (see ‘Have I got too much fetish gear’ post, so at least there should be no lack of scope!
But I’m in a quandary…. What should I do?🤔
I desperately want to have another long, inescapable, self-bondage session – and that will take time to set up, time to enjoy and time to recover afterwards.
But I also want to do a million different fetish/bondage fun things as well, (it has been such a long time since I last ‘played’) which are more quick and easy.
And even though I will be ‘alone’ that doesn’t mean I will not have to do other things as well (feeding animals, work, shopping, cleaning, etc… the usual domestic stuff) – so I don’t think I will have time to do both a long session and all the short sessions.
Add to this the basic idea that all my self-bondage sessions are intended to end in pleasure for me (orgasm / ejaculation / cuming / spurting my load / etc – so many names for the ultimate sexual high) and the sad fact that I’m past the age where recovery from sexual release took only a few minutes!😟
So what should I do?
Throw everything into one huge session (an ‘all or nothing’ scenario) or try for 3 or 4 simpler scenes over the hours I have?
It looks so good on pictures, but feels so bad, when done badly in self-bondage. Whenever I tried something up to now, it involved rope slipping over my skin and leaving bad traces, it also hurt a bit to very much. No good, even long sleeves didn't help much. By accident, I discovered a good method tonight:
You need a long piece of rope, perhaps 15 m, 10 m might be enough, you can leave out some details, I suppose.
Double the rope, tie the open ends together if you like, Start with one round around your torso, including the upper arms. Pull the open strands through the bight in the center of the rope, then do another round, in the opposite direction, pull the ends of the rope through the fold of the rope that occurred, when you changed direction. Pull comfortably tight, but not very tight. Make sure, the rope leads around the upper half of your upper arm muscles.
The next step might not be necessary, but it makes a better harness: Move the rope to the front, underneath your left arm and the rope there, then back, but above the rope around your torso. Do the same on the other side, secure again, by pulling the rope through a bight at your back. Tighten as much as you like, this will cinch the rope rings and tighten them around your arms.
Now move the rope over one shoulder, pull it through the rope rings on your chest, back over the other shoulder, through a bight in the back. The rope rings around your torso are now secured and cannot slip down.
Now wind the rope around your torso again, exactly the same way as the upper ring, but right above the elbows. Also do the cinching, secure as before.
The open ends of the rope need to be tied together now, if you haven't done so yet. Then you hang the rope over a door handle something similar and pull tight. You need to support this by pulling your elbows together. Since the rope is cinched, it won't scratch your arms, but it will create a tightening loop right above the elbows. Friction is high, it feels quite secure. It isn't that secure though, you can pull it open if you want to. Keep the tightness at a reasonable level. It will become a bit more uncomfortable during the next step.
To finish off, wrap the remaining rope around your wrists a couple of times, then feed the end between your hands twice and cinch. Friction and the fact, that the rope hangs down from your wrists, keeps the tie tight. If you want it a bit more thrilling, you can feed the rope underneath the cinch loops. If you know a more secure way to tie your hands, don't try for the first time, see, how you can cope with the elbows first.
In order to escape, you have to undo the cinch between your wrists. It might be a little bit difficult but should be possible. If not, cut the rope there. Now pull your elbows apart and undo the rest of the tie.
Don't understimate the pressure on your arms above the elbows. This method is nice to the skin, but it still squeezes your arms together at a point where they have no protection from muscles. Instead, there are blood vessels and other vulnerable things. But on the other hand, it is much better than wrapping loops over loops onto your arms and pull tight again and again. It tightens evenly around both arms, and if you stop pulling, it doesn't fall apart instantly. Actually, it almost stays as it is, if you don't struggle. And once the wrists are tied, the elbows are perfectly secured.
Thanks to the author of this website (http://my-knots.blogspot.de/2011/06/shib...ith-2.html ), who inspired me. The elbow tie is almost the same as described there, except that you leave the forearms free. Instead of cinching gently, you cinch as much as it takes to tie your elbows.
I've always been a little disappointed with the general lack of tension that spread-eagle selfbondage inevitably involves, so I went to work with imagination and DIY skills. The attached photos show the results.
1) I bought a plate-type 12/24v electromagnetic door lock (25-30Euros) and build a wooden bracket and attached an anchor point to the plate (see photo 1). This is screwed to the floor (I have carpets over wooden floorboards so this works fine, but I guess others with carpet over concrete or laminate/wooden floors might need to think of something else... fasten to skirting boards or use a large plank) and the electromagnet attached to the power via 12/24v transformer and two in series electronic timers (one for safety back up) timed to switch the power off at your chosen "end time".
2) Fasten opposing anchor 2-3m away and join to the electromagnetic anchor with chain. I used a twist bolt to tighten this up (see photo 2). You could place an ice-lock timer here http://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread-Ice-time-locks between this anchor and the chain as a second backup.
3) Lay spread-eagled with fingers touching the newly installed anchor chain and mark the position of ankles on the floor. Place a spreader bar between these points. I made my own collapsable spreader bar from an old broom handle, some metal pipe and some large eye-bolts and I'm rather proud of the result. I also attached some brass d-ring type picture hangers as shown. I took some long springs I had lying around in the workshop and clipped these to the ends of the spreader bar and anchored the other ends to the floor (see photo 3). The spreader bar can then be placed under considerable tension and kept there by hooking the brass picture frame hangers over another couple of screws I placed in my floor.
4) Clip my ankle cuffs into the eye bolts on the end of the spreader bar, lay back and clip wrist cuffs into anchor chain using padlocks. I use a small length of chain between my writs cuffs and the padlock to make this easier and keep the tension. You can also spread your arms wider and reach out along the anchor chain to make this bit as tight as possible. Click! Click!
5) Now simply flex your knees /legs and unhook the brass picture frame d-rings on the spreader bar off the screws that are keeping the springs in tension... voila! (see photo 4)
6) When your time is up, the anchor plate releases (or your ice melts) and you can reach over and undo your wrist cuffs and you're free.
You can achieve a nice amount of tightness/tension using this method depending on what type of springs you use. OK, so you've got to spend a bit of time in the workshop and buy a few bits and bobs but the result is (I think) worth it.

After finishing the last loop, start tieing an overhand knot into the remaining strand of rope - hard to explain again - basically do the same knot as when tieing your shoe-laces. But make sure, the side you have to pull for undoing it, is the side that goes to your wrists. Now move the knot as close to your wrists as possible and make the loop of the knot very small too, just wide enough to feed through a padlock. Put the padlock through and "click". The key is secured by your favourite timing device. You cannot remove the last coil of your tie, because the padlock is in the way, you have to wait.
This is probably a bit tricky because your hands are already tied together and there is not much space to move the knot. Furthermore, this only works, if the tie is really tight, because otherwise you will eventually be able to work one loop off, by pulling the other loops tighter. However, this is the closest thing to a rope timer that I have ever heard of.
Of course, if this really works, you should be quite familiar with this tieing method, because, obviously, you could easily cut off the padlock unless you have moved all cutting devices out of the way. And that means, there is no plan B. If you aren't sure, that you can undo the tie once the padlock is removed, you are in trouble. On the other hand, you could use the same padlock to chain yourself to a place where you cannot get to a cutter.
Still recovering from the shock as I'm writing this. This incident has taught me a great deal.
I was feeling kinky for a sb session so I put on my zentai and layers of pantyhose over my body. I wanted to try something a bit more exciting so I wore plastic bag over my head before anything else. I only cut a small nose hole for breathing.
After the plastic bag over my head, I used a pantyhose leg to secure it after I aligned my nose hole. Then the zentai hood over and lastly 2 pairs of pantyhose for the top and bottom.
It became quite compressive, after all it's 30+200+120+120 denier in total but I loved the feeling. The blindness made me feel even more horny.
I then proceed to enjoy the tight comfy feeling of my whole body encasement. I also tried some sb techniques so spice things up further.
After some hours and my head was really wet with sweat inside, I decided to do 1 last bondage before calling it off. I took off a pair of pantyhose on my legs to do a single-glove at the back.
It was quite hard at first as the friction is strong. After struggling for awhile, I managed to get my left arm in. Now to get the right arm in only to realise the pantyhose was not as stretchy and quite small. Being determined I used all my might to get my right arm in. I only managed to get it halfway in before the pantyhose start to cut into my arms.
I tried to escape but the pantyhose was twisted and impossible to get out. Furthermore because of the twist, it moved my breathing hole away. I left only a tiny bit of the hole to breathe.
Some may think it's very exciting to have a little breathplay and inescapable bondage in combination. Not so much fun when I'm alone. The pantyhose continued to cut deep into my flesh, cutting circulation. I felt my fingers tingling and that's where it scared me the most. I needed to get out ASAP. My arms began to weaken. I tried all I could; tear open/bust open with my shoulders. None worked. I was blind, feeling desperate and hopeless. I thought that was the end of me. I sat down, calmed myself down to think properly. I figured I have scissors lying around nearby so after some time I found it but my hands were too weak to cut loose.
I used all the energy left to poke through with the scissors. I managed to make some small holes here and there. Eventually I made it out of the single-glove and quickly shifted my breathing hole back in place. I breathed a sigh of relief. I was terribly shocked, injured and weakened. I guess I won't have another sb session for quite some time...😟

I am new here, but very interested in selfbondage. I think my first positive experience was in kindergarten, when someone held the door to a plastic play house closed, while I was inside. After that the occasional bench binding as harmless play (which didn't stop me from getting an erection, at least noone seemed to notice)
So now I tried out the selfbondage thing with ice, but it wasn't as exciting as those memories mentioned. Knowing the fact, that the release method is failsafe destroys the whole experience. Of course I don't want to for example die of thrist because not being able to unbind myself. But waiting for some minutes or even random hours is not really a problem. Back then it was fun, because someone other tied me up and I was at full mercy.
I guess there is no solution to this problem, except finding a partner?
