First Leotard-Wearing Experience

(24 Apr 2020, 02:10 )essanym Wrote: @LeotardLover Your posts are always top notch and super interesting.  Thank you for sharing.  I can't speak for everyone here, but I would love to see photos of you in some of these activities you've told us about, even if your face is blurred or otherwise obfuscated in some way.  Please don't hate me for asking.  I mean, who here wouldn't want to see photos of an interesting guy at trapeze class or runway modelling.  Being asked or told to wear leotards and tights is probably the dream of many here, including myself; and you've lived that.

I know, I've been dragging my feet posting images. I still need to go over to my mom's and look for some of my modeling pictures. I asked my mom and she doesn't know exactly where they are... but I have a section in her basement with a lot of boxes that I've been dreading to go through.

When it comes to taking daily images, I just don't think of it until after I do whatever. I don't post pictures like on Instagram regularly so its not ingrained in me, plus when I do take some I don't like them and end up retaking and retaking until I get tired and move on. I'm really image picky.

I wish I had some from the trapeze class. I would have liked to have one or two or a video of me. That was one huge missed opportunity.

In terms of getting the layers right, I guess I've been doing it so long it's not something I think about. Bathroom challenges are something you get used to and expect to remove layers. The reason for layers is to hide the previous one so you never have the issue you speak of LikeRa. Layering dance wear is more common then you guys think. Most women in general like lots of layers. I've met several dancers who prefer to wear 2-3 leotards over each other or pair them with two pairs of tights. A lot of gymnasts wear double leotards to train in and some in performances. Ice skaters train in multiple layers or heavyweight moleskin and 2-3 leotards not just to stay warm but for support. I've also met some ballroom dancers who wear 4 pairs of pantyhose and 2 leotards under their performance outfits.

The difference between the above and you guys, is that you wear dance wear for fetish purpose and others who layer wear them for performance and support. Two entirely different mindsets.

This is what my wife taught me:

E.g. the left leg is put in front of the right one and more to the right, then the right one, so your legs become "crossed" a bit.

However, I still don't understand what to do with the hips...

Runway walking has totally changed since the 90's into mid 2000's which can be seen in these videos....

Look how Gisele opens for VS, her walk is flamboyant...

And today's walk is more street normal and calm, which is about subtle confidence.

This is a great example...

No-no-no 😁 I found this on the Inet. The scheme on the picture shows what my wife told me 😊

That's what I call "criss-cross"! Rather very heavy exaggerated "criss-cross".

Interesting. Are you talking about trainings only? From what I see on TV, ice skaters (I mean speed skating) wear a simple t-shirt under the outer catsuit. They usually zip the suit down immediately after the finish, so it's easy to see.

Again from what I see on TV and various videos on the Internet ballroom dancers usually do not wear any pantyhose - they are always barelegged. Can't say about leotards, but most likely "no" as well - look at they bare backs and bare arms.

Do men also wear layers of leotards and pantyhose during trainings?

If so many tight layers are worn, what about the blood flow? When I wear several tight layers, some areas of my skin get numb and I get ropemarks.

I guess so, yes 😊 But if it's about the look & feel - then we might have the same goal 😋

I see what you mean by "criss-cross" now, I've never heard that terms for describing the walk.

 - I meant ice skaters, as in figure skaters.

- The leotards are flesh-tone so they're hard to see. What you're supposed to see is their dress, not undergarments which a leotard would be considered.

Do men also wear layers of leotards and pantyhose during trainings?

 - Gymnastics men wear leotards, yes. There are specific gymnastics leotards for men. I have seen some men wear women's leotards to figure skate train in along with spandex tights and unitards. I've not seen any wear pantyhose though.

Men wear a leotard and then stirrup pants over top. The leotard might have some support quality, but is mainly worn like a bodysuit to keep the top perfectly tucked into the pants and to be form fitting.

If so many tight layers are worn, what about the blood flow? When I wear several tight layers, some areas of my skin get numb and I get ropemarks.

 - That sounds like you're dealing with a localize area of the body, a tight fitting pantyhose or spandex unitard with a leotard I guess is different. I used to know a couple NYCB girls and they told me they wore a crazy amount of leotard, unitard, tights and pantyhose layers under practice and performance wear for support. Pointe is hard on muscles and tight garments like these help to support them and keep muscles from cramping or tightening up.

It's the same concept of athletes wearing compression spandex for practically every sport now. If you run a marathon, you'll want to put compression or recovery tights on after the race and wear them the day after to avoid muscle soreness. Before compression and power spandex was developed, athletes wore layers of skin tight clothing to support muscles for longer stamina and to fight off cramping.

I disagree, most people here don't share the same goals when wearing tights, leggings or pantyhose as athletes, here it's sexual, its about feeling the material in a somewhat cross-dresser like appeal to see what the other sex i.e. women's garments fee like on them. A taboo curiosity. Everybody here is drawn to pantyhose/tights/unitards and leotards because of how it feels on and the restriction.

...

Your story is amazing and definitely a fantasy of many. It sounds like your past experiences with pantyhose and leotards are something you are fond of. Are you glad you had they opportunity and were introduced to wearing pantyhose during these events? Did you enjoy the feel of the sheer, silky pantyhose in combination with the leotard? Did you always wear black pantyhose at the designer shows or did they ever have you wear suntan? How did they approach you about wearing pantyhose, did they just say we need you to wear these pantyhose with this bodysuit? Did anyway ever seem curious or confused when they saw you at these shows in your outfits or was it strictly business? Did you develop an interest wearing pantyhose after you were introduced to them during these shows?
