Hopefully a solution can be found. Is it possible to move to a cheaper host?

Linode is one of the cheapest for what they offer. They aeady upgraded the plan twice for free (e.g. https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread...5#pid22135). I see the following solutions:

- Donations (in whatever form they are)
- Buying from affiliate links (currently eBay and Ali cover about a half of the configuration)
- Paid content (not really an option, I'm strictly against paywalls - I would better struggle with what we have right now)
- Wait until Linode upgrades the plan for free again (that might never happen, the last time it was upgraded 5 years ago)

If somebody clicks on one of the advertisements and subsequently buys the item, does that also generate revenue? If so, it is probably costing money that the aliexpress advertisements are not there at the moment.
Additionally, with ali, first having to search for the link and then finding the item back is much more work than getting it directly from the ad.

Yes, it should, but it depends on the cookie settings.

Thanks to your donations - we have snapshots and daily backups now! The first snapshot has been just created! Should something happen, we can quickly recover to this one!

Just compared the pricings of the leading hosting companies - they are exactly the same for the same configurations. What means - there will be no free upgrades in the foreseeable future 😁

Well, it could be better.

Come on guys, we all spend lot of time here, just lurking if nothing else. It would be fair to recognize @LikeRa's effort and contribute for at least for webhosting expenses.
