We might need to upgrade next year, because the current resources are expiring. And that means we need $1200 per year.
We need full (local, daily) backups (currently I'm backing up the database and uploaded files to my home computer), and that means we need additional $300 per year (for 320GB).

$1500. Yearly. That's $900 more than I pay now. Ideas?

The bare minimum (additional storage space plus backups) - $1150.
I'm not exactly swimming in money but I was able to give a little. I hope it helps. Hopefully a solution can be found. Is it possible to move to a cheaper host?
Just sent you a little bit - hope it helps - not enough, but lockdown etc.

Good luck sir.
With the Covid being good for personal finances, I managed to send you a bit as well.
THANKS MUCH GUYS!

Just a note (thanks @Zooy for the heads-up) - Linode (the hoster) is testing paypal payment system (normally it works only with credit cards) - currently you might get strange names as the receiver of the donation. I will ping them to fix that!

Should be fixed now! A buffer account is still used, though - the direct server payment is not implemented 😟 Even if the money is on the Linode account, I still have to "move it" manually. My original idea was to make it fully autonomous and community driven - anything can happen, you know...
