I found this old image of Nichelle Nichols (Uhura from "Star trek) trying to walk in crotch-high ballet boots. It's the cover from a 1960's theater footwear catalog:
![]() The original scan was from a cheap catalog, printed on plain paper. The type on the back had bled-through. I managed to clean it up a bit, in Photoshop. More to the point, I'd love to have a pair of those boots---especially if they can be locked all the way up to the crotch!

I bought a pair on a (fairly expensive) whim a while back. Wore them twice. Hardly ever got any farther than Nichelle Nichols in that image. Those things hurt (unless maybe you're a very lightweight person).
Life's too short to pretend you're not into some kinky shit.

I have similar experiences. My record was to walk a distance of less than two meters, from one chair to the table. I never managed to repeat that. Somehow the trick seems to be not to have your weight on your toes, but have things tight enough so that the rest of your foot takes part of the weight, but for that the boots should be made specially for your feet. That would be way beyond my budget.

My only experience with ballet boots is this one: https://www.likera.com/blog/wp/archives/8597 I never tried to walk in them. Sitting was OK 🤣

Moreover, the pain is part of the "punishment". For these reasons, they need to be locked. As mentioned, such boots would be too great an expense to justify. Still, I can dream. Even if I did take the plunge, I'd likely start by just lacing to above the ankles. That way, if I cramped, I could remove them quickly. As my calf muscles, ligaments, and tendons stretched, I would lace a little higher with each wearing, until I reached the top, and felt confident enough to close the locks. I've heard that, if such boots are laced quite tightly around the ankles, my ankles would support my weight, and take much of the pain out of my toes. I have yet to test that theory. If nothing else, the tightness would add to the sensation of "no possibility of escape!"

I once went to bed with the boots on. At a given moment I did get cramp in my toes, and there was not much I could do but wait it out. After a while the cramp went, and in retrospect it was not as unpleasant experience as one might expect. I am not going to say that it was pleasant, but as a bondage experience it is actually a bit what you do hope for. Unpleasant, but not harmful.

I found the same on my most recent overnight bondage hotel night.. Went to bed with the boots on.. locked so removal wasnt possible.. keys in the timed kitchen safe.... I set it for 3 hrs on the offchance I fell asleep Didn't of course, but agreed that around 2hrs in a twinge of cramp appeared.. a bit of wiggling and trying to stretch the foot as best possible and it went again within a few minutes. I must confess I was happy to shed the boots after 3 hrs though!! |
