The pills were a antibiotic for a really bad case of heat rash that pretty much made putting on jeans was quite painfull.

Hmm, I'm wondering if a side effect was a drop in testosterone and if that contributed to breast growth.
... or possibly not related at all ...
Whatever the cause, they are growing, and I do like them.
I'm sure they'll stop at some time.
I was (and still is) a huge fan of Charice (via Youtube only), and I've just discovered, that she has transitioned to Jake Zyrus. I hope he's happy...

Interesting vocal comparison in the same songs. IMO Charice wins hands down, but the Jake & Charice "duet" is quite impressive.

I still see it as a huge loss for music lovers, but again, I hope he's happy.

Just to give you an idea what it was 8 years ago. Here she's informally and "unpluggedly" singing for Live US Weekly & Rolling Stone staff:

BTW, I like her latex-like sequined skirt here.

Just some thoughts...

What a mixed feelings... On one hand both she and he look adorable.

OTOH...

I'm clearly biased. I like girls. I find young girls irresistibly cute. And I usually prefer grown up girls to any boys. Yes, there are exceptions, but usually because those girls do not quite fit "my cuppa tea", and boys have at least a cock 😁 But still I do not like men. I like cocks, but I do not like boys in any age group. Unless they are pretty ladyboys. And I'd like to see myself as a slender pretty girl (less the accompanying issues, please 😁 )

Because of my bias, I can tolerate m2f, but not f2m. No phobia, no chauvinism, no "anyism", I just prefer girls over boys.

What leads to... An example (not real!, just AN example). How can I ask my wife (or relatives) to tolerate and support me in m2f transition, if I would not tolerate her f2m? In other words. If I find f2m disg... no ... inap... no.... errrmm... If I do not like f2m, why would I expect that others will be excited over my m2f? How can I expect my wife to switch to the "lesbian" mode? She prefers me in my male form, with all the body hair, etc. See what I mean?

When we say that the the form does not/should not matter, it's the "internals" (I mean the person, the soul, the intelligence, the humour, etc) what matters, and "it will still be me", why people still want to transition then? Hey, if the form does not matter, and it still will be you, why are you still going to transition???

OTOH...

A live person is better, than a dead one, regardless the form... Usually...

I'm still pretty sure, that 95% of the problems is related to society...

My apologies, if I hurt anybody. But that's just me, and I was sooooo frustrated and irritated by Charice's transition... I see it as a huge loss. But I hope he's happy. Oh... I'm repeating myself.

Of course we do not know what happened, when and why. But. One point. Charice was an adorable "girly girl" (not a tomboy at all) with "girly girl" manners, very feminine until 22. Then something happened. She began to change her style and came out as a lesbian. 2 years later she passed the point of no return. The question is - what happened to her around 20-21. Looks like a trauma... Was it the only "one direction" way?

Any comments from TGs?

There could be any number of explanations. Reality is though that it was likely known from early on that they identified as male. It's more that the realization comes in time, not any trauma.

For instance, I knew from age 4 I was "different". Wondered why I had to wear corduroys and checked shirts and play with GI Joe instead of wearing a nice dress and playing with barbies. At about age 11 I started dressing. At about age 13 started buying my own clothes. At that point (age 13+) I knew that I identified more as female. But this was the 80's... not LGBTQ friendly time. I hid it. I hid it well (until caught that is).

Like him appearing girly girl, now appearing male, I appeared manly man and now appear female. I played hockey, even juniior and college hockey, played in a metal band, then joined the army. My first marriage was pretty much an attempt to "be a guy". Same with all the rest. Didn't work. My last year in the Canadian Forces I finally embraced who I knew I was and came out. Second to start transition in the CF.

When we transition (meaning living full time, taking hormones, etc) it is so that WE are happy. So he is doing what he needs to be happy with himself.
Another point. (I just ... still can't believe Charice did that...) And more philosophical.

With how much responsibility should you treat the Gift you received? Imagine Rembrandt or Mozart with cut off by themselves fingers, or Hawking listening to bimbo hypno-files, because he decided that he's too smart.

Gifts, like Lives, can be given for a Purpose and taken back if the Purpose is not being pursued. You are either following "the path of the warrior", or not. Or was there another Purpose which required sacrificing of the Gift?

Just another example to explain my mourning.

Ariana is a huge talent. Fantastic voice. Ariana is 1 year younger than Charice. Let's compare (yeah, I know, in some cases it's a "bad practice"), their rendition of "I have nothing":
