I love chastity, I have a cb 3000 and a birdlock one. I would like to try the latowski.
Thing with the silicone and plastic ones is I always get chafe wounds after a couple of days. No fun.

Lotion. Had the worst with the silicone ones, less so with the plastic or metal. For the plastic one I use baby oil. I sleep with it on night stand as well, so I use some in middle of night (seems to almost always be 4 am lol). 

Biggest issue is keeping the cock itself clean in many I have found.

Your experience isn't the majority IMO. I know so many who cannot orgasm while in one, and maybe 2 personally who can. It's not a "myth", just something that is hard to achieve for many (if not most) who wear one.

The closest I have come so far in cumming in my non-silicone versions is when I was in for 63 days, and on the 62nd day was used as a demo for my former domme in her mentoring classes. No vibrations, etc, just from the play.

I have the same problem. If the device is not tight, I can easily escape, if it is, it begins to hurt after some time. Lubricants do not help much, because of the tightness and subsequent swelling. Lubricants are used to ease frictions, but if something is tight, you have pretty much no frictions, but rather pullings, cuttings, twistings, blockings, etc.

Not only that, it can cause the skin to blister and peel away.
I know, it happen to me when I was at Tollyboys in Shelfeld in 2000.

The ONLY time I had that issue was with silicone ones. The rest... nope. Because the ring was the one that fit. And the ONLY time it actually caused pain where it did not move (the ring) was because it was too small.

Had mine on for 63 days, used lotion and baby oil. Yes... some MINOR discomfort at times. But NO probs. No "blistering" or skin "peeling away". Only one - silicone on me had some blistering and my domme ordered it off.

The reality of chastity beyond an hour or so? Lubricating the skin constantly. It was part of my daily routine as a live in. Time given for it too. No excuse not to do it even in a vanilla 9 to 5 (gee, you get to go to the loo)

By far the most comfortable of units Ive tried.
I have the v1 (padlock version) the shape of the ring and tube interface make it easy to fit into and quite secure once all locked in.
It's my understanding that the v2 (integrated lock) is even better for comfort.
But with regards to hygiene as will all plastic devices it's a 'few days at a time' thing with a full clean up out of it type thing.
I'm sure you could go a week at a time, more than that would not be wise.

If you want easy extra long term hygiene compliance stainless devices like the jailbird are probably your only options.
