Ballet boots

The type on the back had bled-through.  I managed to clean it up a bit, in Photoshop.

To avoid that, use a black background behind the scanned page.

Somehow the trick seems to be not to have your weight on your toes, but have things tight enough so that the rest of your foot takes part of the weight, but for that the boots should be made specially for your feet. That would be way beyond my budget.

Use thick padded insoles and tie the laces with all your strength.
