Need to tighten a loop such as a wrist or arm could but just can't pull on it yourself? Consider using a second piece of rope attached to something solid to help you. Tie the ends of the two ropes together, pull on the ropes to tighten by crawling away to tighten, secure the end of your original rope and untie it from the extender to reuse the extender or just to avoid cluttering.

I didn't see anyhting too related to what I am doing using search so I thought I would describe my system and see what happens.
I use an older version X10 based home automation system called an ISY99. Actually I use 2. One for the house and one for a DIY estim machine both of which can be connected to the internet for remote control. These older untis go for about $25-50 on ebay. The newer version is overpriced at about $250 retail.
I use TENS 3000 for estim. These go for around $30-40. I use 2, nipples and cock currently. These unit are basically analog so you don't have to press a button if they are turned off by the ISY99. I run the TENS units with a battery replacement that connects to a 9V power adapter controlled by an X10 module.
A late addition was a clunky system to adjust the TENS intensity knobs with a small motor.
You also need a bunch of X10 modules so the ISY99 can turn things on and off. For example I use an electromagnet as a key drop device. The ISY99 controls the electromagnet. The nice part is that if the electricity goes down then the key is released. The bad part is that the electromaget gets hot 😁 and if the electromagnet is on for a long time then it takes a while for the key to drop after the electricity is cut, like a minute ot two for an hour capture.
The ISY99 is easily programmable including programming loops and has a web interface for executing programs, including over the internet. I have had a few people play over the internet so far but it is great for self-bondage with a long running program for estim.
There are a few commercial units that work better I'm sure but they are way more expensive, like minimum $400.
There's been some controversy on fetlife regarding a new website to popup called kinkprojects.com. Apparently, quite a few people received marketing emails seemingly out of the blue and were confused as to how this company had their email addresses. The timing of this is also interesting as the latex community is experiencing quite a public divorce with regards to latex catfish and the US counterpart, catfish imports. If you do a WHO IS search, you can see that kinkprojects.com was registered in September 2020, in China. Some people think that they might be latex catfish rebranding and that's why the marketing emails were sent out to latex clothing customers. The thing is, I am a latex catfish customer and I did not receive one of those emails so I'm not sure I believe that's what is happening. Also, the website was registered before the latex catfish drama started so it would have been some incredible foresight on latex catfish's part to build a new brand ahead of that fiasco. Interestingly, there are some similarities between the kinkprojects and latex catfish websites. I looked around and even found some outright plagiarism in the how to care for latex section of both websites but it's China so not really surprising. It might be that kinkprojects just wanted a nice functioning website so they looked to the other successful Chinese latex company for inspiration in web design. I've been thinking about ordering something small from them just to get an idea of quality. If I do, I will try to remember to review it here.

I have seen this jacket on amazon for a while, but when I tried to order it, I got the message, that the seller doesn't accept to trade with me... odd. Well, then I found it at Wish, ordered it and got it, after about three weeks.
It came in a zipper bag, strong plastic, definitely for long-term storeage. In the bag was a piece of paper with the following text:
"Do not use water soaked clothes within 2 weeks, Because our clothes are all handmade, the glue is not completely solidified, if you really want to use, please bask in the sun about 2-3 days. Then wipe the surface with alcohol or water." This is noteworthy, because I remember the typical expectations, latex garments from china fall apart after a very short time. Perhaps, this is an explanation.
The size is as expected, arms a tad short, but that's okay. The material is not chlorinated, so I had to powder it with talcum. I was a bit suspicious about the functionality of the drawstring for the hood, and I was right. It doesn't move at the moment. I think, it needs some talkum as well, but it will be tricky to get it in place.. I checked all seams and found a spot at the front pocket, where a corner is lose, about 1 cm length. and the top of the zipper is not glued into the collar on one side, about 2 cm. All other seams are fine. This is not a death sentence, but not hight quality either. I will write the seller and see, if I get a reply.
Apart from that, as mentioned, tons of stuff, and prices are moderate.
ps: I just noticed, that the design of the drawstring is not exactly as on the picture. My jacket has a seam around the rim of the hood, where the string is embedded, and it comes out at the zipper. No eylets, string stopper or anything.

The amount of information I found here today on the forums made me feel somewhat ashamed of myself for not reaching out to the community earlier. I don't know how often you hear this @Like Ra , but thank you for creating this site. The moment I started reading other's stories, experiences and advice, it's when I really clicked with this site.

I know I shouldn't be complaining about my position, but how do I make my hands go numb? Allow me to explain.
A month ago or so I discovered I am flexible enough to tie my arms behind my back all by myself. I got immediately hooked by it, so much so, that I've been doing it every night non-stop. I absolutely adore the helplessness of myself being tied that way, and the numbness it produces on my hands/arms.
For the curious, this is how it goes after I manage to tie my arms behind my back:
- I feel a rush for about 10 minutes, the thrill of being tied is that strong.
- Then at the 15 minute mark, I start feeling a little numbness at my finger tips. I can still move my fingers.
- By the 30 minute mark, my hands and forearms are gone, I can't move or feel anything.
- For safety precautions I always start untying myself by the 45 min mark. (I have had some close calls before, so I take this step very seriously)
- It takes about 5 minutes to untie myself.
- When I'm finally free I can feel all the blood returning to my arms, wrists, hands and fingers. Otherworldly, seriously. I don't even know what it is, but that struggle to untie myself, the pain, the sensations, it all transforms into the ultimate endorphin rush.
Anyways, I think I'm starting to develop some kind of tolerance or resistance to going numb because my hands now won't go as numb as before. I know this sounds crazy, but... do you know of a way to ensure my hands go numb? Of course, without damaging my nerves long term lol.
