While it's hardly proof, I decoded the high frequency recordings in some of SBs tracks and while with some tuning I can kind of make out the suggestions, I really doubt enough information is being imparted for any impact at all. I probably experienced a stronger influence from them after decoding by trying to figure out what was being said than anyone experienced by listening to the original track.

Yeah, the same plugin that encodes in Audacity has a decode option, I believe this is mentioned in the software thread. I just filtered out all frequencies <10000Hz then decoded the very high frequency audio. The same high frequency track is used in multiple files. The audio is very muddy, most of that audio was crushed into the 15k - 18k range. I remain extremely skeptical of the efficacy of this method. |
