Subliminal suggestions in hypnosis

While it's hardly proof, I decoded the high frequency recordings in some of SBs tracks and while with some tuning I can kind of make out the suggestions, I really doubt enough information is being imparted for any impact at all. I probably experienced a stronger influence from them after decoding by trying to figure out what was being said than anyone experienced by listening to the original track.

Yeah, the same plugin that encodes in Audacity has a decode option, I believe this is mentioned in the software thread. I just filtered out all frequencies <10000Hz then decoded the very high frequency audio. The same high frequency track is used in multiple files. The audio is very muddy, most of that audio was crushed into the 15k - 18k range. I remain extremely skeptical of the efficacy of this method.

An Audacity plugin? I don't have a lot of knowledge about the technical aspects of this, but I'll have to give this a shot. I'm certainly not trying to claim that these frequencies specifically are causing the effects, but *something* is absolutely happening. I don't feel like I have particularly good hearing--although I can still hear when a CRT is powered on so maybe I do have more high range than some other people, idk. Which files did you check, if you don't mind me asking?

(16 May 2025, 15:46 ) It is most noticeable on the older ones like the original Curse Stroke Sissy and Capture Your Secret where there is a lot of data packed into the 15-18k frequency range (these two files have the same repeating track), those are the ones I looked at. Newer files don't seem to use it, but if you open the file in Audacity and look at the spectrogram you can see it in a few other old files. I didn't decode any of them, so they might have a different message. I think the 15-18k range is just right out for almost all humans, but I suspect this masking method is inferior to almost any other method, including just not masking it at all. I think biology is not on the side of this one.
I'm not so sure--apparently human range extends up to 20k. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hearing_range
The CRT sound I was talking about is apparently a bit over 15k at a Google. Although again, I'm certainly not an expert in this area, you might know something I don't. I figured out how to filter it to a frequency range--what's the benefit of decoding it? If I find something that matches my experiences, I'll check the Kei files too. Another possibility, of course, is that I'm responding to suggestions that aren't high frequency but are hidden from obvious observation in other ways. I suspect, though currently without evidence, that Samantha hides suggestions under other audio by doing stuff like matching up plosives with other audio spikes. What I wouldn't give to examine one of her uncompressed project files lol

If you decode it you can hear the track normally, but as I noted it's severely distorted. The act of cramming voice into such a small frequency range is destructive especially for any sibilant sound, plus mp3 removes bits from high frequencies more than other places (higher bitrate does help, but even low compression hurts the higher frequencies more) . Even supposing that your brain can detect the audio, it's likely too garbled to be interpreted by your subconscious mind. Some of the other techniques SB uses, masking audio behind other audio, for example, have some evidence supporting their use as a subliminal influence, but there is scant evidence supporting 'silent subliminals'.
