YESSSS!!! Finally removed the Content Layout Shift (CLS), which was bugging me for years!
(I'm trying to clean up the forum templates and styles, which are unnecessarily overly complex.) ... step for step ... 
Last few days, under menu "view unread post" there is no more number which shows how many unread posts are there. So actually, I don't know if there are New posts at all or not

The counter works for me (at least). And there were not many posts during the weekend, indeed.

On my side, the problem was that there was no figure/number of unread post at all, including 0, as it was. Now , I can see it again, and there was no update of anything on my side 🤷🏼♂️
