Got these from AliExpress back in April, and they finally made it through the plague and customs. Got them custom colored and sized.


Unfortunately one of the straps was a bit too big, but it doesn't matter that much when you've got a lockable zipper.


But that doesn't stop me from enjoying them. Nice thing is you can only wear them with tights, otherwise you pull skin with the zipper, or the socks are too thick

Have you tried walking in them?

Twice, with support, and less than 5 steps. My ankles are having problems holding up my entire body weight. Not too surprising considering how thick I am. 😅

Girlfriend dared me to try walking down stairs in them. Nooooo thank you. 😬

Can't say I've had cramping issues. Most of the issues have been just worn out ankles, some front of ankle tendon pain from being stretched for so long (edit: that has been fading with practice), and the occasional circulation loss if my foot is crammed into the boot just slightly the wrong way. Thankfully, I typically catch that last one fairly quickly before locking everything up. 😋

All of the other issues can be solved with just practice and spending time just hanging out in the boots. Being able to work from home has given me plenty of time to do so. Just makes having to get up to go to break or lunch a bit more complicated as both of those require a trip down the stairs.

Still not taking these things anywhere near stairs. No sir-ee Bob. 😬

Hopefully y'all can forgive the double post here, but it is something new being added to the topic, so....

After getting a small leather punch kit for ~$30 from Amazon, I was able to get these shoes' straps a little more accurate in sizing.
   
Also picked some nicer (and more adorable looking) locks to match the straps.

I will edit in a picture with them being worn post-customization sometime later today. Gotta get those pink stockings through the wash...

Edit: Barely had time as I was one boot in when I learned we had company coming over. So, y'all only get one wedge heel unfortunately.

   
Everything locked up rather nicely. Looks way cleaner and "professional" compared to when I first got them.

First person point of view of boot, and I suddenly realize that second to bottom strap isn't tight enough. Guess I get to take the leather punch kit to it again.

But yeah, I think that's about it for now. Will post again if I get any other neato footwear with heels.
