Practice session with timer padlocks

Just a quick one this time. Nothing to fancy. Wanted to try out the timer padlocks and since there was a bit of discussion last session on where to put the ratchets I tried a different setup. There are two ratchets positioned at the back of my neck, one to pull my bound wrists up and one to pull my legs into a hogtie.

What went well:
 - I used this technique on all the time locks, works very well, after they unlock you'll still need to be able to reach them and slide them out but that went smooth and after that the ropes just fall off. Much easier than fumbling with keys.
 - position was comfortable, having my legs crossed like that used to be less comfortable. Stretching your legs when tied like that hurts but the hogtie prevents that so it's actually more comfortable as I couldn't accidentally hurt myself like that.
 - I was stuck, the  knot for the rope around my upper body is melted shut, the knot for my wrist loop is melted shut and I couldn't reach the rope at my ankles or the ratchet without the jacket (but that would only cut my legs some slack, not let me escape). I couldn't get out without having to go for the scissors but then I had to get off the bed and since I was rather comfortable I decided to wait it out and enjoy it  😇

Things to improve:
 - at 32:39 in the video you can hear the beeping from the lock at my feet but it did not open, at 33:20 you can see (actually hear) me using the buttons on the lock to try to open it manually (almost started a new countdown). This was the one survivor of the old timer padlocks so I guess these can't be trusted at all anymore.
 - I set the locks to 20 minutes, normally I'd play some music in the background so I know when the time is about to run out to make sure I'm not laying down on the locks preventing them from opening but I was making a video so no music and 20 minutes hard to guesstimate. Maybe I need to have a clock visible. 
 - Next session will have an ice lock again so I can try a bit harder to get out, even if I get things tangled a bit the ice lock will released everything anyway.
 - better outfit. suggestions?


Next time I think I'll do a single rope for two ratchets, one at my neck and one at my feet like I did here but with the timer padlocks. I'll also print more of the ratchet sleeves so I can cover both.

Why is there a very large knot behind your back, on the shoulder rope?

Next:
Frogtie with belts. Wrap the belt around the ankle once, then tie the buckle over the thigh, but don't tighten it very much, or it will be uncomfortable. I found that this is the most simple method that will prevent the belt from sliding down the knee.

If you like pain, tie nipple clamps over the shoulders to the point where ice lock is attached to shoulder rope. Pulling down on the hands tie will tighten the clamps. Experiment a little before passing the point of no return.

It was something I tried and it worked so it stayed like that. It's nylon rope and I held a lighter under the knot so now it's melted shut. I should probably make a better looking rope loop ...

I don't have good belts but I do the same with ropes. Start by rapping around the ankle and then loops around thigh/ankle with a cinch to finish it off.

Loved the set-up, description and video - I find the 'click-click-click' of the rope ratchet so evocative of my own adventures. 

I was slightly alarmed when you described the failure of one padlock to release when it should have - I think that's why I've stuck to ice all this time. It will always melt and free me (barring such freak climate conditions that release would be the least of my problems!) 

Crossed ankle bondage is something I've only recently started to use - I find it very comfortable, so long as I don't struggle too much. For me it avoids the sometimes painful compression caused by 'side-by-side' leg bondage (e.g. ankle bones touching) and is very restricting if only binding my ankles. But I've also discovered that it can cause my legs to cramp quite painfully if I start to struggle or move around too much - even if I've warmed up and stretched before a session (which I strongly recommend as something to do). 

What could be improved? 

Ah, well you must know by now that I love pantyhose/tights much more than bare legs, and long gloves also add a nice touch, whilst ironically removing the sense of touch for the wearer.

Long gloves definitely look better but it's harder controlling the buttons on the locks and they wear out so fast when handling ropes.

Ok, I gave it a try just now on a 15 minute timer. Just a quick one to test the waters, rope around my ankles and above the knee, ratchet with sleeve connected to the coil above the knee to pull my bound wrists tight. So not even hogtied, no upper body ropes and indeed very hard to move around. I think I pulled a little to tight because at the end my left hand started tingling.
