My theory is that hypnosis (not limited to Bambi) simplifies (no bold statements here) such "interactions".

You receive, what you transmit.
The universe is mirroring you.
You attract what you are.
Think of resonances.
You can not attract something, what aeady does not exist inside you.

See what I mean?

Hypnosis, propaganda, NLP, good books, films, etc make you experience something, what possibly did not exist in you yet. So you are acquiring a new resonance frequency, which can attract a corresponding reality.

OK, think about an earworm/ohrwurm (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Earworm) - a melody or a catchy phrase is stuck inside your brain and does not leave you alone. How different is a music earworm from a "hypno-phrase" ("tick-tock, suck-cock") or "I'm a girl, I must wear panties"?

That's not what it's doing at all. The hypnosis has zero power aside from what you give it; Bambi has zero power aside from what you give her. The people with stronger reactions are, consciously or not, giving the hypnosis too much power.

The brain is a very potent, complicated thing. It can do what you're describing.

I would say yes and no. I'm talking about egregors, of course. But even egregors have zero power on you, unless you are interested in the subject, you have similar resonances, you are connected to them, or someone brings your attention to a particular area of interests. Think of big corporations, social networks, countries, governments, tribes, religions, football clubs, gangs.

You might know Rick Beato, and you might even know Ted Gioia, but ... why this thread?

There is an episode in the interview (beginning at ~8min), where Ted was talking about alternative states, trances and how music impacts body and mind. For example, shamanic rhythms. According to him, it takes at least 10 min for the brain to entrain and reach the trance state.

Another note - it's suggested that originally shamans were females, and that's why male shamans dress as women.

There was also an interesting indirect reference to the Law of Attraction: if you create something assuming, that the auditory is smart, you will attract smart auditory, and vice versa.

im sure thats not the subject matter at hand here but 432hz and binaural beats were used in a study for dental patience to relieve dental anexity.

If I remember correctly 432hz showed to be better at lowering dental anexity before the procedure began. Binaural beats were also effective but 432hz was the winner here.
