@sfreak There is a bunch of "removal files" and a lot of Hypnotists have one on their site or available "somehow". It's hard to pin point which files and specific hypnotists did the real damage. For years I've went through a wide variety of them and never stuck to one, up to the point of using one file, feeling it has too strong an effect, quit and purge, only to forget which file it was the next day. I also used a whole LOT of brainwash sound and video files even subliminals of random creators on the web, it was more like a self destructive behavior than a personal fun time activity. The scariest it got is a similar experience to yours when, I believe, I got triggered in public in a group discussing something, I was the center of attention at that moment and I made statement but then, I don't remember what exactly happened I dissociated, everyone was giving me weird looks and making rude remarks that seemed completely out of place and arguing against it among themselves then disbanded. I'm can't remember which files I was consuming back then I just purged and quit everything and it never happened again since then.

Anyway, that last part you mentioned about change is the toughest part to consider. To answer that question, my past personality feels more authentic, consistent and emotionally involved than my current apparently fractured, hollow and apathetic one. However, in memories I can't really tell what was my ideals, goals, interests and even my romantic desires they're all completely contradicting mess. So even if a removal file won't bring me back to the same place I started, I just thought it would at least heal whatever damage or remove 'artificial' pieces that were added into the mix. Other things absolutely play a role in how we perceive ourselves today. Some brainwash programs subconsciously even warped my very identity, temporarily at least for quitting them fast.

I have to look in my files, I remember I had some non-erotic hypnosis file voiced by a female hypnotist that was all about removing unwanted results of trauma and finding back to your authentic self by managing sort of your mental garden of thoughts, nourishing what you want and ripping out bad weed... worked quite well for me in my personal development. I will check, maybe it was on youtube... if I find it I can link it here or send you a PM. I'm currently overworked and due to changes at my job have way less free time, so it may take a moment - just as an info.
