@trismegist made a very interesting suggestion to use autostereograms (
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autostereogram) during listening to hypnofiles. Basically, that should turn the internal dialogue (and the "conscious firewall") off, because all your attention will be switched to "assembling" and "keeping" images stable.

Another interesting thing. They use the term "egregore" in regards to the servitor. So, the information I get and the information from other people do correlate. The sources are independent with 20 years in between. Not that it proves anything, but just another point for my theory how/why hypnosis works.

OTOH, they use sigil->servitor->egregor as a hierarchy, or an evolution. In my opinion all three coexist but perform different functions:

o- Sigil is the calling method (trigger) - a form of the fotamecus symbol used by everybody to get a quick access to the egregor
o- Servitor is a process within the "conscious mind" environment - one instance per human mind. Not sure if it's used indeed.
o- Egregor is the "external" thought-form - a single unique energo-informational system behind the "fotamecus".
