I'm not a big fan of any of the modern costumes, I still like the one from the two CBS series' with the cape best.

       

It's irritating that the upward point on my belt keeps flopping over, I suspect the original had a bit of velcro or similar to hold it up.

A costuming related issue, Disneyland Paris  show us how westernizing kigurumi doesn't work. To quote another movie:

Not something I'd usually post but this turned up on a search recently as apparently it's rubber coated. Whatever it is it's absolutely amazing; nine months work, eight feet tall, mechanized rotating gun turrets, sound effects, the lot! Have to love this...
