Cosplay - Fetish or Fun?

Good commitment @Culmor at buying two pairs of identical shoes in red and black.
Must have taken a while to find a company that did both in a suitable style!

Thanks both! You're right, attention to detail is what sets a good cosplay apart from the 'costume in a box' party shop version. Actually finding the shoes wasn't difficult, they're from Pleaser/Devious who make almost all their styles in black and red. Surprisingly what caused me the most trouble was finding the bells for the collar; I'm still not entirely happy with them and I might paint them to match the off-white rubber better. Attention to detail again! That said, although this is one of my favourite costumes it's not actually a canon costume at all but a mash-up of the original Bruce Timm version with some items taken from fan art. Here's an illustration of what I mean,

   

Anyone want to hazard a guess at which villainess is being rubberised in one of my new projects?
