It reminded me that Jennifer Beals does virtually none of the dancing in the original movie . Most of the time you're watching the French actress Marine Jahan (or the gymnast Sharon Shapiro) but in the final scenes she's doubled by a male dancer, Richard "Crazy Legs" Colรณn. In this picture Beals is at the top (in case you couldn't tell ๐ )

This led me to thinking, where else on film does does a man have to wear lycra to body double as an actress? There's 'Blade Runner' where in her final scene Pris (Daryl Hannah) is doubled by gymnast Gary Combs:

The only other example I can think of is from the sixties TV series 'Batman' when a male jockey doubled as Yvonne Craig's 'Batgirl' for the horse-racing scenes in the episode 'The Sport of Kings'.

In Germany, there is a funny coding of sexual practices with country names. So for example Greek is anal, English is BDSM and French is oral. There are more, but these are the best known ones. I wonder if these "country codes" are used elsewhere too.
The reason why is the image underneath, that I want to translate.
The text is roughly "Piano Lessons, English School, call me 0180 .... (typical expensive mobile phone number), if you are very nice, we could do a trial lesson, bring your own dress". Of course it should transport the original idea and if "English School" doesn't have this side meaning, I have to think of something else.
I find some of the stuff on Anarumako's blog too strong for my taste (some of the enema scenes are over-the-top for me), but there's a lot of good stuff there. I particularly like pics from this recent session:
I made an interesting discovery which is related to female faces and TV.
Sometimes I see a woman with a face that I instantly like in a very affectionate way. It used to be hard to tell, what was so special about these faces, they are all a bit alike though. They aren't even beautiful and I couldn't really tell what was so special about exactly this type of faces.
Today, I played around with eyeliner, lipstick and a wig and there we go: These faces look just like mine, except that my face has aged the male way of course.
Now I wonder, is that just me, am I specifically fond of myself (though I don't really like my face) or is that pretty normal? It seems, that with a wife with the female version of my face should actually help spreading my very own DNA ๐ This question is no trouble for me, but I am curious to know if others know this effect too.
Please don't ask for pictures, as they would have to show my face and in this context, I would't like that ๐
Anyway I was so impressed I decided to buy his book from Ebay and have a try myself. So far I've ordered a skin coloured bodysuit I can draw the tattoos onto

and a fishnet bodysuit to go over it:

I already have a sleeveless black leotard to cut up, now to get some sequins...๐
