I got hold of a couple of balloons that I thought would work after we spoke on VK
Unfortunately the ones that arrived were small neck... maybe 2cm, not like the climb in ones that are more like 20cm 😟 

So am yet to get to try this!

Yes I had the same problem. I wanted to save money and ordered some from China.
As described by you, the necks were at most 2 cm wide.

So better buy them in the right store, even if it is a little more expensive.
