And after 4 years... my nerves are still recovering. I can feel just fine, but every time I spend more than 5 minutes tied up... my nerves start complaining. If I over do it then I stop feeling entirely in the affected region for some weeks or even months. It's a bit sad I can't get to that full endorphin/dopamine rush anymore, well... actually I can but my nerves would be severely affected 😋 .
By the way, I just found out the real name of that 'reconnecting nerves' sensation. It's called Paresthesia... well you always learn something new.
Anyways, here's how my last 'successful' session went (from 2024):
Since I crave for even more extreme positions, borderline inescapable situations due to numbness, I decided it was time for the 'big one' you know, that project lingering in your mind since the very beginning. In my case I wanted to be fully hogtied for a straight hour. However since I can't really self hogtie myself securely, a different idea struck my mind. What if I purposefully get stuck in an upside down hogtie? think of it like a really tight yoga position: arched back against the floor, arms in an elbow tie, and legs bent in a frogtie so I can't push myself up. The only way out? Rolling myself sideways.
Something like this, but all tied up and a bit less extreme:
Well, I started by practicing without numbing my limbs of course. I adopted the posture and found out really quickly that it was a very tight position, exhilarating! Even without any ropes I couldn't immediately escape, so it was a big success. Next step: add loose ropes. I found it almost the same as the no rope position, so it was more of the same. Very difficult to maneuver around, but still doable. I tightened the ropes more and more until I felt comfortable with both the position and the escape route.
After practicing a bit more I then switched to numbing my arms and legs beforehand, and then adopting the position without any ropes. To numb my arms I did an elbow tie behind my back, and for the legs I adopted a 'seiza' position. I had to wait the usual 15 - 20 minutes to start feeling numb. Then after everything was set up I untied my arms (still numb), and proceeded to lay down on my back. It felt really awkward, the numbness didn't go away immediately, so I knew that was a bad sign of a very tight position. I tried to push against the floor, but it just wouldn't budge, I was effectively trapped!... or almost trapped. After my recent success it was time to use my escape route... and... I just rolled myself to the side. I caught a little momentum and was quickly released from my tight predicament. Needless to say I got to the edge due to Paresthesia so I called it for the night. Phew, that was hard work.
The following night I tried to put it all together, tight ropes included. I dressed fully, black tight pencil skirt, deep black sheer pantyhose, white satin office blouse, tight black corset, and of course, beautiful 6 inch black high heels. Here we go... I first tied my legs frogtie style, then did the elbow tie. I waited for the numbness to kick in and positioned myself in that tight arched back position... Well that was pretty straightforward. I think I spent 30 minutes in total before experiencing excruciating agony, not only was I numb, my joints hurt like hell and my lungs started to feel discomfort because of my accelerated breathing. And that's how I found out! Joints aren't part of the nervous system... well obviously, but I mean, they don't share pain receptors so you can feel pain even when you are numb. I couldn't move... again, so I was effectively trapped... again, only this time for real. At that moment I felt both panic and the so desired 'numb rush', it was exactly as I wanted it to happen, it felt just as intense as experiencing something for the first time... best/worst moment ever.
Anyways, I tried to roll myself, but due to the numbness it was a 100 times more difficult. I could barely gain momentum, so it took me a while to rock myself back and forth (sideways). In the end I flipped and was able to 'stand up', I was still tied up but moving on my belly and knees was so much more manageable than the inverted hogtie position. Anyways, I untied my elbows first with a little hook on the wall and got a second 'numb rush', woah, I then untied my legs and felt yet another 'numb rush' c'mon! I think that was a perfect 10 out of 10 experience... or it would have been if my right foot didn't stop feeling entirely. Nerve damage again? oh no!
The injury wasn't as bad as the one I got a few years back, I could still move my foot alright, but I just didn't have any sensations at all on my outermost layer of skin. Anyways, it took me almost 3 months to start feeling something, and 3 more to start feeling normally. Nowadays, I just do 10 minute sessions, taking great care of not pushing my nerves to the point of numbness anymore. I feel both sad and happy about it, on the one hand I was able to pull off a really difficult fantasy all on my own, on the other hand I will never experience something remotely similar to that ever again, nor do I want to risk it... and that's okay.
